Heists will be on both consoles as Rockstar confirmed today via newswire. As for your complaint about Next Gen. getting exclusives, I say why shouldn't they. If they want to pay the extra money then they should get exclusive content. FOr those complaining well I just don't have the money, have you tried getting a job, or perhaps you have one, you could put in overtime. You could do what I did and get a job, or try begging for money or a raise on your allowance from your wife, or mother. Otherwise I think I speak for just about everyone on here when I say we're tired of the complaining about Next Gen. gets all of the good stuff. New Hardware means more new stuff because the hardware can handle it.

Well, we're not 'entitled' to better updates, but, as far as quality goes, they... really can do a lot better, and they have before.

 

I don't entirely agree with the OP, but I agree with him on his beef that as far as dlc goes, they are not delivering. The Flight School and the LTS updates were pretty weak imo. And ever since this game came out (more than a year ago), we have yet to receive at least one substantial DLC. When updates such as The High Life and I'm Not A Hipster were released, a lot of people were happy, because they were good updates. They fed us well, and kept us happy until the next update.

 

Sure, you can just go ahead and say that we can't complain or moan about not getting anything better because everything so far has been free, - But we never asked for that. I'm sure anyone would be willing to pay for a worthwhile dlc for this game.

I know what you mean and I completely agree, I think everyone does, but creating twenty topics that are almost idenctical to this one every single day isn't going to change that, it's just going to annoy people.

Stuff they are able to add to the next-gen game is because of the next gen consoles, so bitching like they are not adding first person view to your game is like bitching it won't run at 30FPS 1080p too...

 

I put in, and enjoyed, hundreds of hours of gameplay on PS3. Whether I was a person who was going to get the next gen version or not (I am) I sure wouldn't be pissed about getting ripped off.

 

I ran some numbers the other day, think I've paid about 6 cents per hour so far on PS3. LOL. That is damn good bang for the buck.

After a year,and many hours of gta 5 off and online, my desire to purchase a new console and purchase the same game again is minimal. The improved graphics would be cool for awhile but it's the same old game and same old map. Most reports are way more about graphics with minimal mention of actual substantial new content. It's as if the improved graphics is the bulk of the new content.

 

What i desire most for gta 5 is real substantial new content like tbogt/tlad that gta 4 received. Opening the casino,new missions contact,and featuring North Yankton would be a nice start.

 

That heists and other new content may not be in the future for gta online for the previous gen does not bother me. I had fun but it's old now. However i will be disappointed to see sp dlc not be released for the ps3/xbox 360.

 

What is really disappointing is that for a game we love most feel we received less than what Rockstar implied or stated we would get. It's that simple as for the negative comments made by most.

take a moment an think that this fps mode isnt possible for ps3? do you ever consider they pushed it as far as they could go on ps3? considering ps4 has a 50gig install, it takes alot of processing power just to have first person visible as detail as they have with tons of new animations.

Dont complain about no dlc its been a year when did the episodes of liberty city come out, The fact that they havnt even spoke about story dlc there is something in the works for everybody im sure.

I could care less what they give next gen. I'm not switching to a new console and buying the same game for a few enhanced features. 16 retards in a lobby killing each other is too much. I don't want a lobby with 30 teenagers who think it's funny to sticky bomb you after you roll out of a pay n' spray.

 

I just think it's crappy that PS3 and 360 users have been completely neglected in the weeks leading up to Next Gen. launch. I mean, it would've taken next to no effort to port over some clothes from Single Player that we don't have Online. And give us a few masks. Hell, anything would've been acceptable. But nothing? Nothing for Halloween or Vet's Day?

 

What's gonna' happen? Friday, Rockstar is gonna' announce the 'Vet's Day Event Weekend', where you get some kinda' sh*tty RP & Cash bonus in some lame brain game mode. And they'll do that obnoxious ass crate drop stuff with more t-shirts. I am a huge Rockstar fanboy, and up until recently, they could do no wrong in my eyes, but these last few weeks, I've been very disappointed.

 

There's been almost NO mention of PS3 and 360. You can say "Well, if you don't like it, upgrade" until you're blue in the face. More than half of GTA Online will still be PS3 and 360 for a long time. So for Rockstar to completely neglect these systems is wrong. Rockstar won't even give any information. We just get "We have nothing to share on that at this time." which is a sh*tty way to treat a loyal fanbase. I'm really glad I've never bought Shark Cards, because if I did, I'd feel like I'd completely wasted my money right now.
