I do realize, that this forum is dedicated to mostly fans of GTA series, but that doesn't necessary mean other games should get no praise whatsoever! I for example love GTA series and its one of my favorite, but i also love Fallout, Skyrim, Dragon Age and Mass Effect series! And to be honest i can't decide which series is better, each of them have down and up sides, one is good for the story and characters development, another for freedom and exploration emphasis and so on! You greedy bastards say you want your favorite game to win every single year? But hasn't it occured to you, that's its f*cking unfair? There are plenty of games JUST as good, so what now? GTA should always get the prize over them?...why's that?! Oh right...i forgot its a GTA forum right? But then again...there're way more games, that deserve to win over GTAV other than Call Of Duty! I too hate those series and think its overrated! But thats games like Batman Arkham series, Fallout series, Elder Scrolls series, Witcher, Dragon Age series and Mass Effect series which make the difference! No game deserves to be "game of the year" it is to much of a general judgement. Everyone has different tastes and will find different games to their liking. I hate f*cking awards for anything because even if 1 million people voted they would still be a tiny miniscule minority of the planets population. Shove your arbitrary awards folks. I said that Re-released (whether its next genconsoles or PC or any other consoles!) version is no league for even fighting games! I'm not talking about GTA overall! If GTAV were released for the FIRST time ,then yeah no sh*t, it would make any fighting game look like joke, but when you release the game multiple times (doesn't matter how many changes you do...its still the same game anyway), its starting to lose the hype and puts it more and more on par or even below fighting games! BLOOD Posted November 12, 2014 Share Posted November 12, 2014 Well GTAO will always evolve from generation-to-generation with V or future games so yeah it will be getting BAFTAs best multiplayer of the year 2014 (twice in a row).what other multiplayer game esp.s re-released game goes from 16-players to 30-players? adds a new character creator,more features to it game-modes? I've not seen many games to rival GTA so far. I thought AC Unity could be possible, but apparently it's been disappointing so far with issues. Far Cry 4 is a possible GOTY candidate, but we'll see. There's been a lot of games that had huge potential but just were not that good, I really wanted Evil Within to be better. "with NO major gameplay" are you seriously for real or just joking? you probably didnt watch/read any infos/trailers from the last week i guess (yeah the story is still the same though). sorry, but prettier graphics, extra guns and cars, and a first person mode are not major imo. it's still gta 5, just slightly more refined and polished. it's nothing new or innovative. ya'll are acting like it's gta 6. TheGoodSgtScooter Posted November 12, 2014 Share Posted November 12, 2014 it will get many GOTYs and it will do it in part because it deserves it but also in part as a response to disappoint about destiny, AC unity, driveclub, titanfall, and in general journalists feeling misled, anti-reviewer, anti-consumer behavior, etc so here comes GTA V, in contrast to Sleeping Dogs, an incredible remaster effort loaded with 8 months of FREE past DLC ($25 by EA standards, $100 by Ubisoft standards) i think journalists will reward that effort in the context of what other publishers have done this year $1000 by try arch and Activision (I don't know which one made the most recent CoDs).
