DISCO-INFERNO-70 Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 I've searched everywhere, and with all the info released so far there is nothing that explains in any in depth detail how the transferring of your progress to the next gen will work. I'm particularly interested in whether or not we will be forced to use our old PSN nametags. I changed my old nametag when I purchased a PS4 by starting a whole new account, and I'd hate to have to use my old name to continue my progress. Does anyone know how the switch will work? Anarckhy Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 (edited) No, I've gotten numerous replies from Rockstar Support and an insider that stated your PSN won't matter. Seems to me that once you load GTAV or there will be an option to login to Social Club, it'll ask you for your Social Club info, which then you just enter in your email and password, and fetch the stats for you.
