And that is what makes them so memorable. Today's was great. But i didn't catch a Whole San Andreas Vibe to it. or Lack there of. The ONLY reason these new trailers seem "meh", is because R* has spoiled us with trailers like the ones we got leading up to the release of last-gen. Those trailers were godlike. These new ones are still great, way better than what any other publisher is putting out, but they simply cannot stack up to the likes of Trailer 1, Trailer 2, or the character trailers. GTA V Is On PC Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 (edited) I actually agree somewhat with what your are saying. I honestly did not like the "Picket Fence" trailer at all, as it felt like a last minute put together of random strangers and freaks missions. The very first GTA V trailer was pretty darn good, and pretty much all of the pre release V trailers were of good quality as well. The official trailer was alright, showing off some of the graphics and such, but I would have liked another E3 type trailer. I'm hoping we will see a pretty neat PC trailer. It was like 4 minutes of pure awesome in it and i think it ended with "Don't Stop Believin" as the music. Anyone remember that. Was better than anything rockstar has ever put out as a trailer. Just throw in random clips with a random song and a trailer is made. Won't lie though, the E3 Next Gen trailer was amazing. Still these trailers ain't so bad. But that's the thing, I played EFLC multiple times and that trailer still gives me tingly feelings. It's that good. All the old trailers were incredible. It's these last 3 main trailers that have been terrible. Picket fence is easily the worst but this official launch trailer is weak too and the ONLY reason the first trailer from E3 was so exciting is because it was the first official acknowledgement of next gen GTA V. I think the reason some people hate on trailers (albeit not the only reason) is because of the song used in it.(The post above this tells all, if that'd trailer used some slow country or R&B song you think he'd like it as much) I mean its kinda obvious, if you like old school/80's rock you're gonna watch Michael's trailer and then mind blown but then you might watch Franklin's a be like meh. IMO that's probably a big factory, if you're more genre diversed this won't ever be a problem for you though. The music, the theme and what they showed just didn't click. Honestly a rare misstep for R*. Every other trailer however has been alright. No it doesn't seem amazing because it looks quite dull in most action shots and the music doesn't help, it's not that I hate IV. Infact I play IV once in a while and it somehow manages to feel new and fresh, other GTA games apart from IV and V almost seem like a guilty pleasure now. So f*ck off, would you kindly? People in charge with pc release actually knows how to edit a video, unlike those in charge with consoles, cause they obviously play too much console and no edit skills, amirite?
