holy sh*t if you have sunglasses on in FP the shade changes a bit, this games is sooooo f*ckin crisp really glad i took a long break to come back i never laugh so hard in a long time with friends jamming video games

Thank god we can see whos talking without pushing start!

 

Also theres no longer arrows on the blips on the mini map to indicate which direction someone is facing.. Players are just arrowless blips now lol

I am glad they took away the arrows, I stand still sometimes and let people come up on me thinking im AFK and then I shoot them when they get up close haha.

I really wish they'd let us have customizable settings for free mode though, thats still a huge buzz kill. We should be able to turn off cops and radar and blips all together if we want to. R* would have to figure out a way to take out robberies and stuff though with no cops there to prevent them or something.

Am i the only one whos heart skipped a beat with the new engine sounds? I love the sound of the V8 engines in the game.

 

I wish they had tinkered with the burnout smoke though to make it linger and float into the air kind of like how they have it in Watch Dogs.

I'm getting a new console tonight, very excited. I don't know if I'm getting GTA tonight, but when I do I'll be transferring over. I already had GTA for 360, but I'm trading in my 360 and GTA to help pay for the Xbox one.

So I bought the PS4 version tonight, so I can play on both consoles. I noticed some frame rate issues, but could've just been a fluke.

 

Also, is there any way I can get the controller sounds to go back through my sound system? I don't really like it coming through the controller.

in settings you can change it.

 

1.Pause menu

2.settings

3.Audio

4.Set controller speaker to Off

Ok, squared that away, so thanks. I got the sound coming back through the speakers. I actually used my CronusMax so I could use my Xbox One controller, because it's much softer on my right index finger and I prefer the placement of the left thumbstick in the upper left. Problem was that about every couple of minutes I was experiencing a disconnect. Turns out that the PS4 will try to validate a controller every 8 minutes. I had to go out of my way to find a workaround. So now I'm emulating an Xbox 360 controller w/ my One controller hooked up to my PC, with a USB mini attached to the CronusMax, which is then plugged into the PS4. All that so I could use the Xbox controller LMFAO.

 

Anyway, just another observation. The PS4 version of GTA loads up twice as fast as the Xbox One version.

That sounds like a lot of work.

I will agree that it did bring back the fun of playing especially in freeroam...until the jetters start pouring over and ruining everything again(been some so far also slight spike in twankers too). It's fun being able to get bounties too since the main popular wallbreaches have been fixed.

Got GTAV for my PS4 yesterday after selling my XBOX360 months ago. Overall it didn't dissapoint me. The graphics are great, love the wildlife in SP and even transferring my 197 character went smooth as hell.

 

The only thing that feels a bit off for me is that everything feels a bit.. slow.. I already changed the sensitivity of aiming / camera in the settings but still. Might be something I have to get used to again.

 

Apart from that I have no regrets buying it for my new console again.

Watch dogs beats GTA in so many lvls. Even on next gen watch dogs is better - in offline mode. Online mode gta beats watch dogs - but not with much.

Did they increase the bitrate+resolution of the short films you can watch in the cinemas?

 

Honestly it looks like they hooked up a Playstation 1 playing pirated VCDs to those cinema projectors!


The only thing that feels a bit off for me is that everything feels a bit.. slow.. I already changed the sensitivity of aiming / camera in the settings but still. Might be something I have to get used to again.

I believe that's due to the increased framerate.

 

If you watch FPV footage of driving down a road at a set MPH rendered at 30fps it will appear the car is going faster than the same sequence rendered at 60fps.

To be honest if Watch_Dogs had offered a lot more stuff to do in Online i think they could've competed slightly but GTA would've won Online overall.

 

I wonder what Watch_Dogs 2 is going to bring as far as Online

Not even close in any respect. did not finish it and traded it in. Most boring game released in history, a complete letdown.

Watchdogs was a disappointment but on topic I just got an led ultra had tv and OMFG now I see the difference, I'm very pleased with the quality of gtav ps4
