Well, not too many days left til the new GTA V comes out. Figured I'd start a thread as a waiting room for people counting down and discuss the upcoming new addition to the series.

Cool idea for a thread, I just want that sexy Dukes, I used to love that car back in IV, I really hope you can get the Highway Reaper logo on it too, maybe it's like some other cars how you have to get a certain modification and the logo is also put onto the car (: and I can't wait for the chaos in free roam.. 30 players! Also I am 100% sure that there will be animals in Online as it's next gen.. And it would be a major f*ck up if rockstar didn't add them in, they were in Red Dead so shouldn't be hard to add them into online and OMG this thought comes to my mind now! Imagine the death matches and even races we could make if we could add animals to them! Sort of like Far Cry 3's map creator (: (:

I'm going to live the new consoles vicariously via all the GTAV Forum activity, while I hang out in the PC waiting room for a much longer time. Good thing it's air-conditioned and we have some snacks there.

I am so hyped about this that I thought the game was being released TOMORROW. hahahahahahaha.

I thought tomorrow was Tuesday the 18th....now I have to find a way to stay alive for another entire week, dammit.

 

Fukc GameStop for making me turn in my PS3 console an entire week before the game is released in order to get the $125 credit for my PS3 which had 90% of its memory since all i did on it was GTAV. I had to take advantage of that trade in deal. I also brought 10 PS3 games and they were willing to give me $8.00 for them all....i had to laugh. I told them id find a way to give them away instead.

 

Anyways, going to look to see if i want to download the free games for the PS4 as i dont have any games to play and im not going out and buying a game to play for a week, because once the GTAV drops, I probably wont consider any game and if they give me a damn Quick Job Deathmatch Filter........watch out!

Well, it all started in June after seeing that E3 trailer. Sold my GTAV copy along my PS3 back in November to get a PS4. Throughout the summer, I just kept replaying that E3 trailer ALMOST ever day, I just couldn't stop. I'd watch numerous GTA Online videos (mostly TmarTn) with racing, because I've never raced in GTA Online, and just watching super cars with jumps, I just wanted to play it now. It seemed such a fun experience that I've missed out on, completely. With next-gen, it's going to get even better, because there will be even more car customizations, that'll fully help cope with my decisions. Now, we're only a few days away, and I'm so pumped. My hype level is over 9000, and I can't wait to jump back onto Online. I'm only a few levels, but that'll keep me motivated to keep playing. I thank you all for reading this, and looking forward to seeing you on the streets of Los Santos!

I am excited for the next gen graphics. The comparison videos of the PS3 and PS4 remind me of those CLARITIN ALLERGY commercials.

The first person gameplay is really cool and I eventually will get to into it, but not excited about it at the moment.

The only way I can be disappointed is if we never get a Deathmatch filter for the next-gen.

I would hate to have spent almost $500 for a game that looks nicer, plays crisper, sounds amazing, has more features but If i find myself having to Quit out of the same played the fukc out unarmed maps and created horsesh!t, then i will be right back to hating the Deathmatch matchmaking all over again, ruining the experience.

 

So I pray to all the Gods that we get a DM filter or Block option, if i can Bookmark maps i love, why cant i BLOCK maps i never play?

 

Anyways, to contain my excitement, I plan on maybe borrowing a PS4 game from someone just to hold me over for the week.

Nice thread idea OP.

 

My anticipation level is unmeasureable. I had never been so excited for a game while waiting for GTA to release last year. This release has trumped it hundreds of times over.

 

Ever since playing the original GTA on PC way back, ive always wanted to experience GTA in FPV and its almost here. I will likely only end up using it for driving, but will certainly want to experience a lot of LS in FP. It will be great for friendly lobbies and such.

 

Im going to miss running with most of my current friends & crew members as not many are upgrading right away, but im expecting it to be totally worth it.

Yea I just got my ps4 they had one left it was the Destiny bundle... I actually been having alot of fun on it so far its been good practice for playing in 1st person on GTA. Almost wish I would of pre purchased this one on the playstation store though since its giving an extra 150,000 in game cash as a bonus plus you can preload it so you can still play at midnight.

I'm not one of those guys that say animals are in online "confirmed," but I am really really hoping for them! Imagine hunting in 1st person with friends and a mountain lion getting the jump on you from behind! Got Halo to hopefully hold me over for a week.

I actually had some vacation time to burn off before the end of the year so I took the 18th and 19th off which runs into my regular days off. Four f*cking days of GTA V on the PS4. I'm beside myself just waiting.

I just applied yesterday and it's supposed to be here in 7-10 days. I could just buy all this when I get paid, but my wife would sh*t bricks. So I have to go the credit card route. Its torture.
