Algonquin Assassin Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 I relate to Tommy since his story takes place in my birth year and I'm a huge fan of classic mafia flicks like Goodfellas, Casino, The Godfather etc. He's just a reminder of what I like in that respect. Niko for the fact I can sympathise with him going to a strange new place and just trying to settle into it. Tommy (and Victor) from the 3D era and Niko (HD Era) are my favourite protagonists. MrVance Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 There was not many game characters with which i could relate to but there are few among them; Michael and Vic were the two i can relate to the most. Michael because i`m also kind of lost in the 80s (like someone above), i miss that time period because it had the best movies, the best music, better people and many things else. I was just a kid back then but i can still remember those great years. Especially when i hear today`s crap music on the radio. Then there is Vic. I see the similarity to him in two things; the army and 2 brothers. This is when it comes to relating. As for symphatizing and emotional attachment there is also Niko and maybe Johnny too. The continued collapsed of life around her. That personally hasn't happened to me, but I've contemplated such unfortunate circumstances.
