GTA-Biker Posted November 10, 2014 Share Posted November 10, 2014 I don´t think it would reappear.Zaibatsu is from 2D universe and GTA 6 will probably be HD universe.I was actually surprised to see Families,Ballas,Vagos and Aztecas reappear in GTA 5 since they were originally from 3D universe,but I don´t think we will see much more gangs from 2D or 3D games. Zaibatsu has been in two universes, they have radio ads in GTA III. Who knows, if the series keep going on the same crazy "over the top" direction we might see something similar to Zaibatsu in the future. Although it's extremely unlikely, I really want them to return in some shape or form, because of the return of the Z-Type in V, they will slowly make a comeback, either as your friends or enemies. Besides, the Z-Type is a car, cars have never really been bound to one particular universe. But with your logic you presented before, you're assuming that the Triads from III are the same as the ones in IV and V, completely disregarding the fact that "triad" is just an umbrella term for "Chinese Mafia", same with the Yakuza and "Japanese Mafia". There's a Hollywood in California and a Hollywood in Florida. Does that mean the two of them are the same place? The Zaibatsu Corporation were meant to appear in GTAIII, but were removed. That doesn't mean anything: the Yakuza has returned in GTAIII, GTA: Advance and GTA: Liberty City Stories after being introduced in GTA1 and GTA2. The Uptown Yardies were present in GTAIII, GTA: Advance and GTA: Liberty City Stories and then introduced again in GTAIV (although they've been renamed as the Yardies). The Families, the Ballas, the Los Santos Vagos and the Varrios Los Aztecas returned in GTAV after being introduced in GTA: San Andreas, and many other gangs from various games throughout the series. On-topic: The Zaibatsu Corporation was my favourite gang in GTA2 and I'd be really happy if they make a comeback in future!
