i think its even more exciting if you own a 360/ps3 copy and then move on to the PC. to see the gameplay change and also the quality + additional object, cars, etc... more appreciation i guess. specially the fact that its hard to get a trainer on a console than a pc.

This just happened to me with GTA IV. Originally played on PS3, but just recently picked it up on PC, and holy sh*t! Even that's quite a difference.

Yet I hope the FP view mode and some other improvements make it worth the wait. I have it for xbox360 but going for PC version.

That's something I thought about but I just can't because one of the reason I want it on PC is because of the gameplay with the keyboard/mouse combo. I can wait 2 more months for it, and even more. If I buy a PS4 now, I'll only get better graphics and such compared to the old gen version. It's ridiculous IMO, also thinking about the price of the current gen version. NO WAY.

 

So I can wait, but it's kind of a pain in the ass.

Why would anyone buy a PS4 or Xbone now for one game that you'll have on PC in 2 months? Unless there's any other exclusive game you're interested in it's just a waste of money.

If they've already decided on buying the PC version then that's a pretty good indication that they expect the game to run on their PC. Also, it's no longer "Next-gen", stop it.

Maybe if all bugs were limited to PC, but it's not. The only real advantage consoles has is the fact that you can very easily launch the game without any hassle at first run.

I share this feeling, while the launch date has been announced for January 27...everywhere, Steam still announce "early 2015" ... it's weird (usually Steam is "up to date").
But given the behavior of R* towards the PC community over the past 4 years, i have the feeling (hope to be wrong) that R* will play in the "EA way" (money way), as the sims4 (for just one example).
First, sell the game in their personal shop (R* warehouse: full price, 100% for R*) and at the "partner shops" (take a small commission with a modest sales volume, but sell "full price" too) .... then later on Steam (which takes a large commission for a huge sales volume, at a reduced price (quickly) and less remunerative for R*).

I've seen many thriving warriors falling at my side or defecting through the year to the "Axis" influence, but I kept straight even when I've had enough money to buy a weakling 540p machine to end all my suffering at once for all.

 

When I was almost giving up to the temptation, I've falled off to the ground of the battlefield against the "Axis" army ($ony, m$ and R*) and everything got dark, blurry and low poly. Then I could imagine the PS3 "sawing" my TV in half due to the huge amount of aliasing on that version of the game and DomIsLive coming from inside of the rekt TV telling me to like his videos for Chop, otherwise he would glitch my entire life.

 

So I stood up back to the battlefield to continue with the battle in the name of all the noble soldiers who fell for the temptation and I've used the money to buy an Sapphire Radeon R9 290 vaporX to play GTA IV at maximum settings with all graphics mods possible to use until the "Axis" army succumbs and release GTA V for PC.

 

So I say: FOR THE NAME OF GABEN. FIGHT, WARRIORS! FIGHT LIKE YOU NEVER FOUGHT BEFORE!!!!

Have to go from google to find the GTA V Steam page. So I don't think the release date matter in there. It's not complete, and preordering is not available. Anyway, january 27th and "early" goes well together. Early doesn't mean "somewhere in 2015". On the worst case, it could mean march.

I hope to god they are spending the remaining time only focusing on how to bust online hackers.

 

Hackers can completely ruin at least half the game if R* isn't serious about stoping them.
