I think we should not stay away from rational thinking.We should learn from the past experience with IV crappy launch and not pre-order this game.also we cant decide yet as the initial launch of this game on consoles seems quite well done and PC version has been made from ground up it seems.So the real deal would be to stop pre-order and buy if its not a crappy port or high demand un-optimized cpu or gpu whore.They dont deserve our money in that case specially when they already treat pc gamers as second class citizens.the two month delay after consoles is in my opinion quite business and thats what should we expect from any CORPORATION these days.they are not our friends nor our enemy.But if they make a playable well optimized game they surely deserve our full price money and great thanks for the best game of all time.

Sorry, can't be optimistic when the game should have come out alongside the console versions. Everyone wants to gobble up what Rockstar says and thinks they're genuinely trying to make it a good pc game but I don't buy it. What are all these people going to do when we get another Assassin's Creed Unity with GTX 780 systems and getting 20-30 fps? What then? Will you all realize the delay was just a money move to milk the console sales again? If this doesn't mean anything to you then you really are a brain dead consumer who likes bending over and taking whatever these companies give to you.

i think its even more exciting if you own a 360/ps3 copy and then move on to the PC. to see the gameplay change and also the quality + additional object, cars, etc... more appreciation i guess. specially the fact that its hard to get a trainer on a console than a pc.

I really like that some here are being negative about the PC version. It's like they wouldn't want it to come out. And some are talking about Assassins Creed Unity. From what I've heard it sucks. Well yall should expect that from company that likes to milk a series year after year. I really liked Black Flag. The pirate theme was awesome but I didn't have any interest in Unity. Once again a game that's been over hyped by the company that fails to deliver.

I used to be like you. I used to get really hyped on trailers and announcements and then whine about delays and pretend like I don't care anymore. What do you know, it's a week to release and BOOM hype sets in again.

 

Then I realized no amount of bitching can make you change the ways of such a huge developer and conglomerate publisher like Rockstar. Suck it up, the faster you do the faster you'll realize that you're just lying to yourself.

but now nothing can make me want to play it,and i didn't even watched singleplayer gameplay or missions,the fact that we will get the game almost one and a half year after consoles and that the next gen consoles get it again first,that makes me feel like we are getting leftovers

Exactly the same for me, making us wait so much is already outrageous, but with this nonsense delay and their idiot polishing excuse they're simply gone too far. I was really hoping to play the game for the christmas holiday, but thanks to f*cking greedy rockstar i'll not be able to. Now there's no way i'm going to buy the game on day one at full price, i'll just wait for a cheap cd key at no more than 10/15 euros. Rockstar really succeded in killing all my hype.

The fact that you're letting such a minute issue get to you is irritating me. It's the equivalent to a child, no offence intended. You basically don't want to play because other people (consoles) are getting the game before you?

They won't explode.... They'll be nothing left after the thermonuclear blast!

 

R* learned their mistake with a badly unoptimized GTA IV and Max Payne 3 shows they tried to make it up to us. As for GTA V, I believe them when they say they are making it right for us.

 

But even if they do make V unoptimized, I have the feeling the modders will help us get the game we should have had in the first place. They made Watch Dogs run better, I'm sure they could help here.
