Official General
It doesn't take long for people to start saying it's got nothing new, it's the same old game, just another re-release, i was thinking maybe 10 pages in it might start, but 5 is a new record i think. Nobody said anyone has to buy again, and if it's not enough for you then don't. Millions of others will Yes agreed, just like you don't have to pay any attention to those like me who still moan or complain about the game. Nobody said you had to reply or be bothered by our posts, you can just ignore them. If that's not enough, then don't - we will still post our comments regardless Whether millions buy the game or not makes no difference to me, I'm just stating my opinions and feedback, despite the fact you don't like it. He's simply just stating his feedback and opinion. Not everyone has to be a yes-man and say that they are willing to pay $120 for the same game with some improvements. Personally, I'll be buying it myself as I'm ready to ditch my Xbox 360. @ and MrWuggy Exactly Thanks for speaking some common sense to these guys on behalf. And I respect your decision, if you wanna buy it again, then it's all good, regardless of my opinion and feedback. I have nothing against those buying it again, my personal disappointment with V don't mean I want everybody else to feel the same way as me about the game. Can you please just go away? Every time something happens you come here to whine about everything. It's a remaster, it doesn't need a bunch of new content. It's about improved visuals. And they STILL added quite some new content. No I won't go away. If you think what I post is "the same crap", then why the f*ck do you still bother to respond to it ?? There are tools on this site to suit your needs - there is an ignore user's comments feature, USE IT. If you cannot resist ignoring my posts, then put me on your ignore list, and that way I would not be able to annoy you. From now on, any personal attack from you will be ignored. If you wanna challenge my comments constructively in a civilized manner, then lets do this. If it's anything other than that, you won't be getting anymore replies from me. I'll be doing the ignoring if you can't, trust me. He shouldn't buy the game again if he doesn't even like it on last gen! exactly...but lol the guy will still get it on next-gen I don't even own a new-gen console yet, so even if you strangely believe I will do that (even though my comments never gave you a reason to think I would), then it certainly won't be happening anytime soon, that's for sure. I said I would only buy it on next-gen if it any decent SP DLC or story expansion is released for it in the future. As it stands now, if V is still the same game with just mostly enhancements in visuals and effects, then I won't be buying it on new-gen. I just said that in my previous comments, I'm beginning to think you can't read properly. I really shouldn't have to repeat myself. KarimNTerr
The all-new " " is simply amazing! Rockstar Games surprised me once again, the quality behind their work goes beyond my wildest imaginations, that's pure art! Grand Theft Auto V, winner of seven Guinness World Records with more than 300 perfect scores, was already gorgeous in its PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions - although it has been limited by their 8-year-old Hardware - but now it exceeds all my expectations in a way I can't even explain with words! Only one week remains, my friends, the future is now. For those wondering, the song featured in the trailer is " " by Sly Fox. gonetoplaythegame and _Klebitz_
Racket89
Not really impressed. Nice graphics and all that, but it just don't really raise my eyebrows enough to make me think, "I need to buy this game again" - especially when I can see it's still more or less the exact same game as the PS3 and 360 versions, and with no sign of any significant SP story expansions/DLC. Can you please just go away? Every time something happens you come here to whine about everything. It's a remaster, it doesn't need a bunch of new content. It's about improved visuals. And they STILL added quite some new content. He's simply just stated his feedback and opinion. Not everyone has to be a yes-man and say that they are willing to pay $120 for the same game with some improvements. I plan on buying it myself. But he never says anything useful - it's always the same crap. If people weren't allowed to post something that was "the same crap" as before, this forum would be pretty dead as you'd have to get rid of people saying they enjoy whatever news is out and about over and over again to keep a fair balance rather than just eliminating one side of the argument.. Evan-KCR
There will always be haters. It doesn't really matter, to be honest. I felt irritated my them first. But then I got used to it. The game looks stunning, and it will look only better on new gen. I don't care if it doesn't have a f*ckload of new content - I just like the game. That's why I will buy it. On PC, it will be f*cking great especially because of mods. Apparently some people want to have new content before buying it again. Meh, they just aren't true fans I suppose. Andreas
Despites the mind blowing graphics and new stuff that was showed, this was the worst GTA V trailer yet IMO.I personally think it wasn't that bad. was by far the worst one, in my honest opinion, considering that we had to wait three months for it to arrive and it mostly consisted of side-missions, as far as I'm aware. Nothing that shows what makes next-gen the definite version. It was underwhelming for their standards. The new trailer on the other hand will be shown on TV; i.e. it has to be appealing the masses in one way or another, which makes it different from their regular trailers. Not that it even matters, really. The game is coming out in a week. Really curious if there is in fact much more stuff to discover than they revealed up to this point. The problem is that some expected it to be a completly new game(GTAVI) with loads of new content, which in fact this game isn't. It's just the enhanced version of a well known game and I'm really eagger to play it. Evan-KCR
DaRkL3AD3R
wade looks really good, water around the boat not so much. pumped to play this You mean the water in the canals right? I brought up months ago (sigh it was that long wasn't it) that the water we've been shown in the trailers and next gen versions looks pretty f*cking awful. As in, somehow they made it look worse than it did on last gen. There's no visible foam, the waves look like they did in sh*tty GTA IV. All the detail, gone. And this is something I am still seriously concerned about. However the canal water, visible in this trailer? It's totally fine. There's not supposed to be any waves or foam in this area, because it's inland in a very narrow stream that is calm. It's supposed to look like it does. gonetoplaythegame
Official General
Apparently some people want to have new content before buying it again. Meh, they just aren't true fans I suppose. I've been playing GTA since GTA III first came out - 14 years ago, back in 2001. I've thoroughly played and completed every main GTA game since then (except Stories from LC and VC, and Chinatown Wars, I was not too bothered with them). GTA is my favorite video game franchise. I'm a massive GTA fan alright, that I do know. There is a difference in being a fan and a fanatic. Just because GTA is my favorite video game franchise, it don't mean I must be automatically happy with every installment and blindly give it glowing praise and admiration, even though I genuinely don't quite think it's the case. Like MrWuggs said earlier, I'm not a yes man, I have my own independent mind and opinions on GTA games, even though I love the series in general. Rockstar was not lying when the said they've added 3,000 new animations. The 3,000 new animations are for guns only, there is going to be way more than 3,000 total. theworldfamous
Can we just quit with the constant comment loop? Official g is perfectly entitled to his opinion. If better graphics and some extra toys don't do it for you, then this remaster just isn't gonna do it, period. I have to admit, online is a big part of the draw to go back in. At least he has realistic expectations. Some people still expect the world out this game and it's not. It's the game you know. Anyway, loving the trailer. These are just meant to give a quick injection of hype to the fans and to make people everybody else go 'oh sheeiiit! What's that?' Job well done. By now even my mom is hyped. The coolest advertising they do remains the gigantic murals they put up. Any sign of those anywhere? I don't think so. Official General

XXVIII
Here is a gallery with screen grabs from the trailer. I tried to take screen from some details that people would like to see. http://imgur.com/a/quKJ2#0 (21 Images) Examples http://i.imgur.com/M8Oomgc.jpg http://i.imgur.com/7Nd4e0n.png http://i.imgur.com/zfPQxhS.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ugrXvqT.png http://i.imgur.com/QlcsRAL.png Whoahh!!! Whoah-whoah-whoah, man. Talk about promptness with the deployment of the Launch Trailer, which is awesome. Holy mother of scintillating and stellar glory. Now, I have yet to delve into the inebriating intricacies and captivation of this footage, but I almost impulsively locked my peripherals on the these electrifying screen captures. Holy crap is this a profound distinction from Last-Gen Grand Theft Auto on so many epic and immense calibers. The heightened renderings of the assets therein, are a momentous showing of transcendence that its predecessor could only construe as indiscernible mesh. This is unfathomably masterful in and of itself. I mean, just look at that the glistening shine that is being emulated off of the motorcycle's spokes, and even the gas tank, and the bolts for the assembly are prominent. There such a glossy shine radiating around the taxi, all of the vehicles are casting luminescent reflections of off each other. The tire treading look absolutely amazing. The interior of that Super Diamond is so crisp; all of the upholstery is visible, the protruding dashboard housing, wing mirrors, grille, hood ornament, and those headlight stocks and parking lights / turn signal markers are three-dimensional now. Just wow! Make an imperative notation of the stitching of the leather gloves, and the gleaming reflection that they give off. Then there is the carbine rifle. All of the proper characteristics are not only implemented, but completely legible. There is the manufacturer, firing modes and the bullet variant (5.56x45mm NATO). We can also see the blinding headlights, and beautiful reflections, rainfall on the saturated ground. Franklin's Vacca looks stunning, the individual spokes. You can also see amber tinges from the streetlight on the vehicle. What is also cool, is that you can actually see the instrument panel lighting illuminating on Franklin's forehead and right cheek. These screen captures in and of themselves, have already encapsulated so many exemplary highlights and nuances that this epic iteration of Grand Theft Auto: V is poised to strike us with on the 18th. The suspension has definitely received a significant overhaul, which was evidenced by the Playstation 3 / 4 comparison video, where Franklin's Bravado was bouncing and responding naturally to the pavement as was the steering wheel. I did happen to see the Blaine County capture, specifically the fur texture on the Scottish Terrier, and the discarded shreds of trash beached next to the chairs. Almost every facet of this installment has been spectacularly beautified. How surreal it is, that this treasure will be upon us in 7 days. Now the time has beckoned, to endure the full extent of the awesomeness. I just know that I will be blown away. My heart rate is steady and ready.
