Not really impressed. Nice graphics and all that, but it just don't really raise my eyebrows enough to make me think, "I need to buy this game again" - especially when I can see it's still more or less the exact same game as the PS3 and 360 versions, and with no sign of any significant SP story expansions/DLC.

A Stallion with the Dukes wheels, the irony! This is quite interesting to see how the Stallion is in gang colours and in their territory, in the screen shot with the Dukes it has these exact same upgrades, so its possible it might be as easy as going to the gang areas to pick up a Dukes or Stallion!

In all fairness it's actually worth more, I'd have no problem paying double for it.

I would pay double that. Considering some of the absolute pony games I've purchased for £50 in the past.

 

In fact it's nice of them to offer this game at such a good price.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. £60 is a bit much, if the map was expanded I would understand but there isn't anything big.Better graphics and making things look shiny isn't really enough. It needs some big stuff and this is the reason im not buying it on release day

Most likely they've removed it. I couldn't get it as well. it did worked before, but now it doesn't unfortunately.

Not being rude, but I'm not really into GTA V Online or online gaming in general for that matter, so that 30 players in a lobby stuff don't mean sh*t to me.

 

I read the IGN preview, and it still appears to be mostly the same game. The only thing new that interests me is a new addition of a murder mystery side mission for Michael. I couldn't give a hoot about wildlife photography. The rest of what I read was just about V having more animals, more weapons, more vehicles, better graphics/visual effects.....and that's pretty much it. It maybe be exciting and great for others, but I just don't anything special about it so far, that would make me buy it again.

 

If Rockstar ever release this now mythical-sounding SP DLC/expansion and it turns out to be very good, and also if they add really good features in their updates in SP, then maybe I would buy this again on the PS4. It's a big if though. However, right now, that's the only scenario I can see myself in buying this game again as a new-gen version. What I've seen so far just does not draw me in enough to even consider buying it again.

Most likely we won't be seeing any story dlc and/or heist until next spring (after the release of the PC version in January). I guess Rockstar wants to get the new versions out of the way first before releasing any story dlc and etc.

I think there's a lot more secrets and stuff for us to discover, they show very little in the trailers (compared to last gen trailers) there must be some exciting stuff for us to find out launch day and beyond.

 

Or they showed everything and told us everything and there's nothing new.

He's simply just stating his feedback and opinion. Not everyone has to be a yes-man and say that they are willing to pay $120 for the same game with some improvements.

 

Personally, I'll be buying it myself as I'm ready to ditch my Xbox 360.

Also I like to add: The game is a re-release with new features that could not fit on last gen. And of course, enhanced graphics and texture settings, It's not a remaster (those of you who are calling it a remaster). It's a re-release. Game was in development for PS4 and XBOX One since 2012.

I would gladly pay another $90 for the upgraded visuals and FPV alone.

 

Anything else is extra.

 

Roleplay and immersion is gonna be amazing now, and that's one of my biggest things about GTA games.

Despites the mind blowing graphics and new stuff that was showed, this was the worst GTA V trailer yet IMO.

Have you seen that awful "A picket fence and a dog named Skip" trailer?

Official General is entitled to his opinion and is more than welcome to convey his thoughts here. Unlike some others he isn't dogmatic in his criticism and remains cordial.

I find the graphical enhancements and First-Person perspective very compelling but I accept that's not enough for some.
