Well... Map layout I believe will be the exact same. They will "redo" certain buildings and areas I assume. The latest screenshot of the police station shows that the building has been updated to a certain degree. I was referring to that huge ass trees in blaine county. no, new palm trees. it was the one with franklin outside the vinewood ammunation with the trunk open. thought there were other examples too but that's the specific one i remember. in any case, whether new bushes or trees, it's still basically just extra nature. i'm not expecting new buildings or anything. found it this one... the tree on the left is barely more than a bush but on the right is definitely a new full palm tree. but again, a few extra trees here and there.... an entire new forest, it does not make TheTruePiMs, VIPΣR, Einsteinbomb and 1 other 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm talking about the non-FPV shots we've seen recently, but like I say, my old man eyes have been tricked by the expanded FOV. Signatures are dumb anyway. To be fair you only build expectations for yourself, if someone asks a question like the OP has and the someone else decides to think we'll get a redesigned map going against what rockstar have said and as the overwhelming majority on here have said, then that person is an idiot. Ever since GTA V was announced for Current Gen I've tried not to play GTA until then, so it feels nice & fresh. & so I can't really tell what's new/different. But the quality of the game overall have been redone. Which means new Foliage, TresFX, Anti-Aliasing, Anisotropic Filtering, new light sources, Dynamic Shadows, and more. It will be identical with a few more trees and foliage. Some people are expecting WAY too much. I'm not saying you are, but I've seen so many people thinking everything will look different and new. R* did say they won't announce some things that they want us to see for ourselves, that could be anything though. I purchased the game because I love the game and I only use my PS4 now. Having the game on my PS4 makes it easier and whatever 'extras' I get with that purchase will just be a bonus. We already know R* has added some cool things, but don't expect to feel like you're playing a whole new game. It's hard to not get your hopes up, but if you have big expectations for the game you won't enjoy it as much. You also have to remember all these screen shots and trailers are edited/filtered by their art teams to look the best they possibly can.
