I played The Crew. Not a bad game, but holy sh*t you guys would get bored so fast if GTA V had the same map as The Crew. Hell, I drove down to Long Island and such, and it was literally a few old-style houses on a dirt road. Okay? People don't seem to understand that a huge map doesn't mean everything. Just look at Fuel. Absolutely massive map, but it's all just trees and hills.

"HURR BIGGER MAP" =/= Good game.

true, but still that map with LS and LV added on is looking pretty damn awesome

does any1 know where it came from? is it just a fan creation or something?

Simple really. Animals in GTA:O so everything outside of LS isn't barren wasteland devoid of life and interaction.

There's nothing. Too much freezing, endless loading screens, timed out sessions for no f*cken reason. I'm giving up hope in gta online. I stayed away from online for a few months and when I final get on. Stupid sjit happends.

I have not had a single connection/time-out issue since day one. Looks to me like its either a bandwith or ISP problem or you are in a crap internet speed area in general. Also, install the game to a decent speed flash drive or external hard drive and it will run better.

This!

If this is real. And when the price drops a lot more. Not worth the money to me at the moment.

THE SLAYAGE

Maybe people would even start using planes as transportation thanks to a map as big as that

meh not big enough

8d7o-ir-b428.png notice that tiny map on the right? Thats gta v

That map is from Ubisofts' game, The Crew. Imagine the horrible car mechanics from Watch Dogs in The Crew. Ughhhh.

The trigger will be once I get a well paid job. I would get it on the 26th, my 17th birthday, but no money. I will fire when I can finally build a gaming PC. My friend really wants to play with me on PC, and I have not got many friends over at PS4/XBOne.

The fixing of connection errors would persuade me the most... And matchmaking. That's a big one in my list.

Already upgraded consoles. So that part is irellivent personally.

At present though I'm unlilely to pick up gtav for ps4 as its basically exactly the same as ps3.

It would take some major group pve content to entice me to return to gta . coop story or online multiplayer campaign story style stuff. Things with real progression.

Gtao as it is. Is pointless and has no progression or reward to it and nothong you do affects the game world or has any lasting impact. Martin forgets youve done a job for him before you even get back to a session. For me thats the biggest thing that needs to change.

I havent played in months yet still at the exact same point as someone who plays everyday without fail. For the simple reason the game goes nowhere thusbits impossible to move forwards or be left behind

Well, basically for me the process was like this:

1) OMG GTA V is coming to PS4 on november 18th.

2) sh*t, do i have a PS4?.

3) hell yeah, i must have this, pre-order... processing payment... would you just finish the f*cking payment, damn, come on... processed... yeeeeeaaaaaaah i got it...

.

.

.

wait, f*ck, it's more than a week left until the 18th... stupid Eric Cartman, there's no f*cking mountains on Buenos Aires. (only for South Park fans)

GET BIG FREEZER, SET TIMER FOR 1 WEEK. GOOD IDEA.

Yeah I've had the chance to play an early build on PC and the recent Beta on PS4, I gotta say (I drive cockpit view with manual and all hardcore settings, I'm very into driving games) i detest the driving mechanics. It feels so sloppy, floaty and just so unsatisfying.

I was actually hoping the Beta's driving would have received major reworking from the PC build but alas, no such reworking was noticed... I'm passing on The Crew as much as I really wanted to love it.

GTA V should stay an island and then your map could become updates to GTA VI. All of it interconnected. I'll upgrade eventually but I already own GTA V. So i'll wait and see if they make a GTA VI that connects to GTA V as this map suggests. If 5 and 6 aren't interconnected then i'll just buy version 6 since like I said I already have 5 on ps3.

I played the beta and I tested the amount of time it would take to drive from LA to New York, which in-game was about 70 miles lol. Not very enjoyable since there were server issues (no one was in my lobby) but the skill challenges kept me from turning off the game.

I would imagine plane travel would be a blessing if GTA had this map.

EDIT: I stopped the test at 20 miles.

I was finally persuaded to get the PS4 just because of 1 single game. LittleBigPlanet 3. Granted Its not like major game of the year material but LBP was the first ps3 game I ever played and vividly reminds me of a special time of my childhood. What got me to upgrade to GTAV PS4 is because of more stuff for the story.

DLC trinkets and a slightly higher graphical quality are not worth $60. I had my enjoyment playing it on the PS3, I will not be purchasing it for the PS4 regardless of what is said or how cheap it will be 6 months from now.

I enjoyed it once and I will not pay to enjoy it twice.

what's left to redeem in that game though? lol I agree but I don't see where R* could go from the end of RDR

I'm building another gaming rig and I doubt I'll be buying GTA5 again. I might get it and mod it but I feel apprehensive about giving R* money. Anymore I put R* in the same boat as zynga, popcap etc.
