EDIT: Now others have pointed out the Blade it probably is a little closer in comparison.

The Blade is the "closest" to a Chevy II or Nova.

What engine did it run? Looks like a strip car to me, and looking good at it.

I would say Buccaneer. The blade doesn't have anything that makes it look like this car, except that its looking like a strip car. Buccaneer has the same lines a bit, but it has the same stance.

I would say Buccaneer. The blade doesn't have anything that makes it look like this car, except that its looking like a strip car. Buccaneer has the same lines a bit, but it has the same stance.

A 406 Small Block 650 lift Comp Cam 3" exhaust, Mickey Thompson 18" wide slicks from what I remember about it. I was digging through his storage unit when I came across the photo.

IMO, the Bladeis the closest in looks, just pull the old slam glitch to the front to get it down and there you go.

The blade is a falcon/nova same body style bucc is a rivi. The blade (original) was a 65/67 imp.

Sweet dude, i myself am going for a pretty radical setup with a 434 sbc next year, i'll make an off-topic section topic about it by then to show progress of building it and installing it ect. I was going for a 406 but then again, i only live once. I'm still thinking about what cam choice i'll make because it will need to be streetable and will most likely go for more low end torque then high rpm horsepower. and like your dads car, i want to keep an nice clean-no bulge hood.
