The Khamelion
Does anybody other than I miss the way the game was before all of the DLCs, way back in September when it first came out (or October, for online)? Obviously, I am not talking about bug fixes and patches that fixed technical issues, but more the game content itself. I feel like every new vehicle or weapon that has come out looks out of place alongside the original vehicles and weapons, they don't sit right next to them in my eyes. The Zentorno and Massacro and Truism R and Furore GT, sure, they may have great performance and look nice on their own, but they just feel somewhat different. Something is off about them, I just feel as though they weren't made with the same basic designs that the cars that came with the original release were. Same goes for all the Hipster cars as well as the weapons. Clothes, eh, they don't really make a difference to me. But I just can't help to think that everything that came out of the box when you first popped in the disc is more realistic, more well thought out and designed, and just generally more immersive than the DLC content that simply feels out of place to me. What are all of your thoughts? Sussus Amongus
mahey31
The initial content was all R*. No community say went into the basic design of GTAO. They had years with that first framework. It's when it hit shelves that people began demanding more super cars, more 'unrealistic' content. Of course GTAO had to have that stuff; it's supply and demand (although that system hasn't motivated Rockstar with heists *cough*). I was wondering this when reading your post, OP. If you haven't enjoyed the DLC content thus far, what would be the perfect DLC? I'm actually with you in that I'm not impressed with any of it really, but what do YOU think would fit GTAO? Nice topic!
SummersJr28
I think they will feel more at home in nextgen, because there are screenshots of DLC cars spawning in traffic. I will sh*t my pants when I see a Lost Biker riding an Innovation, or a Dukes hanging out on Grove Street with the Ballas, or a Zentorno parked in Vinewood. It's going to be awesome/
Sir Michael
Vanilla Online e was pretty fun. Sure, we had a number of glitches, but the additions R* made later on weren't exactly above par, except the high a performance cars in Business and High Life. I miss joining original jobs... Now quick job consists of created and verified content, even with the block "member content" settings on Xbox.
Phantomspirit
Rooftop Rumble is my personal favourite. It pays good and plays good, therefore it is perfectly fine by me! I think your being nostalgic, all the new content is welcome ,I have original and newer cars, all different to drive, clothes ,I love the choice ,weapons ,I love my Bulpup rifle,we could do with more melee weapons,Flamethrowers, Molotovs etc, no I want more content,it keeps me playing..... mysteriousamg
I think everyone forgot that R* was trying to have a real online economy like the real world. Where every player couldnt afford a zentorno or adder ect. If they did not do microtransactions or grind away to save money. If you are riding down your street and seen a lamborghini sesto elemento you would be blown away. Thats the kinda online atmosphere rockstar was trying to create where everyone couldnt afford everything so everybody would have some form of uniqueness until the billionaire hacker days. I was gifted 237 million 22 days after online launch last oct. By a hacker name rockstar_v. Its crazy because he only gave it to me and one of my crew commissioners for not trying to capture the bounty. Once i had that money i was boosting everyone cars to get rich. Its jut funny because before the Billionaire days when it got out of hand, people used to wonder how we got adders and entitys so fast. I understand where rockstar was coming from because once i had all that money, i got lazy, didnt wanna do jobs anymore unless to rank up and the playability jumped out the window. By making everyone hustle to get wealthy online would have kept people playing more and longer.
