darthYENIK Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Another DC Comics character has a TV show. This time from the dark side of the DC Universe. John Constantine is the Hellblazer. A snarky sorcerer and "occult detective" from Liverpool with a dark past. He spends his time exercising demons and fighting the forces of hell, hoping to redeem himself and regain his soul. Three episodes in, and I'm not entirely sure it's going to stick around. The first two episodes were a bit bland. But the third showed plenty of promise. I think it had to do with having an antagonist who was more earth based. The show definitely has potential, but I fear it'll be lost in the rest of the paranormal network shows like Grimm, Sleepy Hallow, and Supernatural. So I'm gonna throw everything out the window and say this... I'v seen a picture of Dr. Fate's helmet on the show. Now, the second Dr. Fate appears, if he ever does.. I don't know the context. It's not the best, but if you like comic book shows (and I know you do), you'll like it. Papa midnight and Jim Corrigan show up which gives me hope for more popular characters. Episode 4 was the most decent imo. Like, he had to do something very mean... Not even justifiable. They said no bottle could contain it. But that one bottle clearly did at the start. It contained it from the exorcism in Sudan all the way to that asshole guard that inspected him for no f*cking reason except for plot advancement. The goddamn line-up of shows that I watch weekly... Not a single one of them has a proper plotline that is specifically made for a TV show format. I could skip 2 weeks from every single one of these shows and not really miss anything. Although, I DID spot the helmet of fate, which was like a kick to the balls, considering I only started watching this because I was honydicked into thinking he was in this. But what I DID enjoy this episode, was Manny... Synopsis: Manny gets his dick sucked. No other way to put it. Oh, and don't drink and do drugs twice. Still not a fan of Zed. REALLY don't like that she can see Manny now for some f*cking reason. What I DO like is that god's got style. Like, he can unmake the sh*t outta anyone that f*cks around too much...
