grope_4_that_date Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) I'm thinking the next game has a good probability of being one of the following: 1) A European theme with an American protagonist 2) An Asian metropolis (Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai) 3) A game set in a different time period in America, most likely the 1970s or 1980s - My argument: 1. No other location will compare with the pop-culture breading ground of the world, which is LA. Which is why I would bet big money that the next location is going to be a collection of locations, similar to GTAIII: San Andreas. They're not going to do one city (eg: Vice City, Boston, Chicago) 2. Additionally, I can't imagine them revisiting any cities in America and/or previously made games (New York, San Fierro, Vice City, etc.) without changing their time period and theme, most likely the 1970s or 1980s. Although, I really don't think this is likely. My bet: I think Rockstar is going to do a San Andreas rendition of selections of Europe. Think about it. Rockstar is going to choose their location based on marketability. Realistically, Rockstar wouldn't go with any B-list/C-list cities in America over a top tourist destination unless Dan Houser has some real personal connection to it. If you're going to make a bet, then they're probably going to go with the more well-known, highly traveled places in the world.
