Los Santos Gang Wars [an immersive roleplaying experience]

Welcome to Los Santos Gang Wars, an brand new interactive roleplaying experience brought alive by the magic of GTA Onine and a little ingenuity. With the first incarnation of Gang Wars hailing from the early days of Grand Theft Auto IV, we saw a multitude of possibilities. Gang leaders would phone each other up in game to set up a drug deal, only for it to go south via a hidden sniper on a rooftop. Battles would be fought over territories in Liberty City, bringing the streets alive with chaos and fire. The possibilities seemed endless then: but now, with all of the features of GTA Online, they have broken that barrier.

Join one of four gangs vying for control of varying locations in San Andreas and step into your character. Cruise the streets wearing your gang's threads, hanging out of whatever your twisted little minds decided would be your official gang car. Rob stores together, gaining funds for the betterment of your gang as they slowly work their way toward the big time. Conduct dealings with other gangs, selling drugs and other paraphernalia (just hope that they don't call Merryweather in to bust your ass). Engage in hectic battles to expand your gang's control of a shifting map. Ride dirtbikes down Mount Chilliad, dying in terrible manners. Hijack a military jet and carpet bomb an enemy gang's hideout. Crash helicopters into buildings. San Andreas is your playground.

We want to stray away from the random killings, the motiveless crimes, and anything else that can ruin the experience. If you choose to come on board, you'll be subjected to abiding by (bleh) roleplaying rules. I only mention this in the interest of transparency. I promise you that they aren't going to stifle your creativity, and you will truly get to live out the life you want in San Andreas as a gang member.

Features

• A narrative that sees each gang start from humble beginnings, slowly working their way toward Los Santos.
  
• Join one of four gangs and engage in whatever wacky politics arise via that gang's leadership. We give near-full control to gangs to customize themselves, their power structure, and everything else as they see fit.
  
• Ridiculous levels of simulated drug abuse as you stumble around your in-game apartment hitting bongs.
  
• The ability to engage in a fantasy you've no doubt had while playing GTA Online ("What if this was...organized?!)
  
• A website and community that acts as a hub for your gang, complete with hidden boards on our forum for your gang to plot their way to the top.
  
• A ruleset and dedicated group of leaders who will ensure that this runs smoothly. OR. DIE. TRYING.

Here's a story from one session of Gang Wars that I'm fond of, to help give you an idea:

I remember one time in the original GTA Gang Wars where a meeting went south. I was the leader of the Italian Mafia, and the mysterious gang entitled "The Company" had taken me hostage in their headquarters. It was on the fourth floor of some building. They had armed gunmen at the door, and their leader was behind a desk laughing at me, telling me he was going to murder me (which would mean that my time in that session would be over: death was a big deal).

When he wasn't looking, I got out my in-game phone and dialed one of my gang members (an awesome feature of the GTA games) and told him where to go. After a few minutes, I said something badass, punched out a window in the office with my fist, and jumped out of it. Bit of a tumble on the ground, but my gangmate was there with a car. We drove off to the tune of gunshots smacking the roof of the vehicle. Great times.

Anyway, I was thoroughly excited reading this then it hits me that this is a PSN only thing...at the moment.

So maybe we could have the four gangs across both consoles and all of them could have an Internet page where they can meet and chat.

Instead of making all events exclusive to a console, someone could control all events that occur on both consoles.

Example: one gang could do something on PS4, and the same gang has to follow up on the aftermath of what happened on Xbox One.

 

In turn, this would create a mini timeline of events that affect all four gangs regardless of console.

 

Just an idea to expand this awesome concept.

 

PS4 and Xbox One need to unite against casuals and greedy corporate whores. The fanboy wars have to stop. I think this concept is a way of helping build those bridges.

Leave PC master race fags to do whatever they please. A console and a PC are two entirely different things.

i believe this isnt a "meet up" type of thread because there isnt any meet up going on atm . Its just a post trying to see if others here are interested in joining such a community. Not sure why some have to be so dang anal around here.
