I had a bluetooth and would not recommend it. People always told me it had alot of noise.

I tried a couple different turtle beach wireless and they seemed to have charging issues. the charge light just did not work as per the instructions and it was always beeping.

Tried the sony and though it worked fine i wasnt comfortable with it.

Finally got a wired turtle beach and apart from the fact its not wireless works great and is comfortable enough.

Get one of the official Sony headsets. NOT their earpiece bluetooth, but the full headphone style. There are 3 or 4 different ones to pick from.

 

This is the one i have.

Its the ps3 stereo headset. It can be used on the ps4 if/when you upgrade. I have a long charging cable so i can use them while they charge.

I use a set of Turtlebeach wired PX22s. They're not too pricey and the sound quality on them is great.

A guy in my crew has those ones too. Mic quality is good as there is rarely background noise from him. To each their own, but I really prefer the advantages of wireless. I can walk around most of my house with the headset on & still chat.

I'm swapping to wireless on my PS4 next week. Picking up GTAV, Farcry 4 and a set of those Sony headphones. Not a bad spend up on pay day.

 

How well do they fit though? I've got a big head.

Im guessing you bought the gold series ones? My buddy a few doors down has those. Rather nice they fold up. You shouldnt have a problem with fitment. My friend has a rather large head as well & they fit him without issue. They have adjustable sides on them.
