Why 'No Kill' lobbies will ever happend.... Shark Cards.

 

Rubbish! They won't happen as they are simply not needed. Mix up some missions with free-roam warfare and you'll never even have to think about buying a cash card, especially since making cash is even easier than it was before.

 

I went from 1 mill to 0 because I kept dying in free roam. Happened within 2 weeks.

Like I said, mix up free-roam with missions. I've neen doing that for ages and have stayed at roughly the same amount of cash.

This topic is still around because lobby options are a GREAT idea. Anybody disagreeing is 95% of the time trolling. Really sad they have nothing better to do then suggest stupid things like invite only. A lobby with friendly RANDOMS gives an entirely different experience than invite only. And is also a pain in the ass to fill with players.

 

How's it sad to suggest invite only? As the game currently stands, that is your only solution until such time that Rockstar implement an altrernative.

Invite only/Private sessions you have to have friends in order to invite them. Difficult to do given the atmosphere. Said atmosphere was available in GTA IV.

 

Joining a crew, making friends, problem isn't solved in regular deathmatch lobbies.

A discussion usually has 2 sides - one tends to agree, the other tends to disagree. Between the 2 solutions, even if they are "make do of a bad situation" in their nature, are often offered, as some of us are trying to achieve here. Others like yourself seem to have nothing better to do except half read what is in front of you and call anyone who doesn't expressly agree a troll.

As the game currrently stands invite only IS our only option. And it DOES NOT WORK for getting RANDOMS to spawn in our lobbies and have friendly fun. Thus we are suggesting an easy way to implement lobby options.

 

Invite only is not a valid counter arguement against this suggestion. It is sad that you cannot comprehend this. I truly feel bad for you.

To answer your question, I would play in both as and when the need arises. If I want to engage in the free-roam battle I go into a public session, if I want to chill with friends/crew, I go into an Invite Only. I trust this is sufficient explanation, however should you have any queries, please feel free to keep them to yourself.

i'm fine with violence in a lobby as logn as its reasonable an doesn't involve me...unless i wish to be involved i would prefer a ...

 

more 'peaceful' lobby mode not inherently that prevents player kills but if applicable to people who wish to play in it. an holds penalties for killing or other wise trolling people.

 

it kinda sucks that you can play an socialize with people without having to be around the many douches who play o.o though there are times where sessions can be peaceful. dunno why everyone has to turn games into ww3 when theres more to do in the game than simply kill each other.

If it's FPV, it doesn't need AA.

FPV should only be in free-aim IMO, AA lobbies should only have 3rd person. The fidelity of the new consoles + FPV means there aren't any excuses any more for AA.

Lobbies should be similar to those in RDR:

Friendly- any aim style, any camera settings, cannot kill other players

Normal- any aim style, 3rd person cameras only, player blips always appear on players radars

Hardcore- free-aim only, any camera settings, player blips only appear when a player is shooting a non-silenced weapon, running or in a vehicle, wanted level does not increase from killing other players

This way, the people who don't want to play in free-aim, can still experience FPV in non-PvP lobbies.

The discussion was regarding FPV, but I feel it is more than applicable here

i dont know why people complain of the "difficulty" of making friends in a war-riddle open lobby...

 

i spend 99% of my gta time in freeroam, griefing and trollin and i manage to receive atleast 7-10 friends request per day, if a hyper-aggressive player like me receive that many request, i dont see how a pacifist/friendly player cant meet people.

I have read the OP and offered a solution that is making the best of a not very good range of options that are currently available. Which part of this simple concept are you not understanding? It's hardly difficult to get your head around.
