will 30 player lobbies = more properties?

I was just thinking about the larger next gen lobbies and how, even with 16 players, the apartments can be war zones at times. Do you think we'll see more housing open up for next gen to allow more variety and prevent everyone living in the same 2 or 3 places?

It would be very nice to have more places to live spread out across the map more, so we're not all crammed together in the city. That's why I've already liked the idea of yachts that can be used as homes, since you could anchor them anywhere around the map. But that's just wishful thinking.

There was a leak not to long ago that might have implied it, but there was suspicion that it was old info. If server space is the problem, then at least give players the option of deleting their second characters and having 4 properties on their first.

i could go for that. My 2nd character only exists for adder storage. i have 12 or 13 dupes left from the hooker glitch that were still sellible as of a week ago. We'll see what happens next week. I'm wondering if i should have sold them before i traded my game in. Regardless i have about $23.5mil in the bank.

They may as well just open up every single possible place that looks viable for somewhere to stay/live.

 

After-all the interiors are all magically masked somewhere underneath the map right? Or no? This is why you can't see out your windows, which i'm fine with.

Not sure why you feel its needed to come in to practically every thread regarding the new versions & bash them. Clearly your panties are in a bunch because your parents wont give in to your demands for the full version of GTA. Get over it bro!

Larger servers = more people. More people = chaos. having them live in more apartment complexes would make things seem more lively instead of one giant deathmatch between LSC and Eclipse towers. Edited November 9, 2014 by blk95ta

Didn't they already add houses and have places not in the city? And aren't they already working on mansions? I think what people are expecting are for every single livable place be available, yeah uh, not happening. More places won't stop there from being one or two popular. The people that buy the ones that are most expensive and popular aren't going to go somewhere else. Only if someplace else because popular and yeah the warzone will just move to there.

What i think they should do is have each property with its own perk:

- beach houses with jettys for your boats

- apartments with helipads

- run-down apartments and trailers with meth labs to make money

- bigger garages i.e warehouses (20/30+ car spaces)

- mansions with bodyguards that follow you around

- ranches/farms with horses (i really hope we can ride horses in gta online) and maybe ability to grow weed for income

- yachts would have obvious perks

 

just a few ideas also having said that I know most are gonna say it won't work etc. but what if R* changed online so that you went off the radar once entering your safehouse meaning no one would know you you are home which in essence removes griefers.

I have no doubt that more properties with recycled interiors will be added (...) but 30-player lobbies will not be the reason for it. There are plenty of properties to choose from, yet most of the chaos remains at Eclipse Towers. A few more isn't going to make a difference.

I don't know when I will...but that has nothing to do with every thread turning into "They should do this on next-gen GTA" or the assumption that the 2 million copies sold by Christmas would somehow make them stop supporting 33 million sold within just over 1 year of its release and only support the PS4/One/PC versions...games that suck, blow ass, fall way below expectations, etc. don't get shut down in a year

That still isnt a valid correlation

Although more properties will be nice, it wont be because there is now a 30 player cap in lobbies. It'll be for property variety (although all the interiors will still be the same i bet )

I have the Eclipse Apartment and I never ever use it,I don't regret buying it,it's nice,and I don't get what this fuzz about gaza strip is about,even when people are getting killed in front of my garage and I happen to be in it,big deal I get killed once and then go to the inner city.
