GTA 4 Launched right after pc boot up

Hi all,

 

as title suggest, my gta 4 launched itself when i on my pc. Previously doesnt happen like that. Im using patch 1.0.7.

 

So, how do i fix it? i dont want it to launch everytime i start or restart my pc.. Thanks.

If you don't want GTAIV to launch on it's own everytime you boot your PC then, do the following steps.

 

Click on Start --> Type "Run" and open it --> In the box type "msconfig" (without quotes) --> In the box opened click on the "Startup" tab --> Untick Grand Theft Auto IV and Rockstar Games Social Club and then click on "Apply".

 

Or

 

If you have got CCleaner installed in your PC, open it --> Click on "Tools" which is situated on the left-hand side --> Click on "Startup" --> Click on "Windows" (Most probably it's the "Windows" which is opened) --> Click on Grand Theft Auto IV and Rockstar Games Social Club --> Click on "Disable" on the right-hand side.

 

Then restart your PC.
