Digital distribution is the future because it saves publishers a sh*tload of money and over time it will kill parasites like Gamestop. D3L3TD Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) It wouldn't surprise me if R* was trying to keep a lock on things this gen, and limiting pre-loading from the X1 and PS4. Usually the Pre-load for X1 goes up around the time the game goes gold. Edit: For reference sake, Dragon Age: Inquisition releases the same day as GTAV, November 18th, and has been pre-loadable since Oct 28th. I can pretty much guarantee that sometime this week GTA will be available for preload. digital distribution seems like the thing to do these days., but not in todays economy, especially with ISP's starting to place bandwidth limits on everyone all over the country effectively taking internet back to the stone-age again(think 90's dial up hourly payment usage) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
