MTBB47
I posted this in ticks thread and i want to put it here too. Too many hosts are beating themselves up at the moment!!! Dont beat yourself up when things don't go 100% to plan. I think i can speak for everyone here saying that its not the fact that the meet goes perfectly to plan that makes us enjoy it. Its hanging out with a bunch of friendly people, having a good laugh and playing a game we all love. I know there are instances that frustrate people but that's just life isn't it? If the world was perfect it would be bloody boring to live in. It was unfortunate that xbl wasn't playing nice for you with game chat but that's not the end of the world. I was very late to the party and there was a full xbox live party. Im glad it was me that turned up last and me wasn't able to join the party as i am so easy to please lol I was happy as a pig in sh*t to follow you guys around without knowing what was going on :-) PS I was only half awake and wouldn't have been very talkative so don't feel bad at all that i wasn't in the party) I/We/You will have to do this again as the 2/3's i did get around Alamo sea with you was good fun, kind of a mini round the map :-) Sounds like i missed a great part of the meet with the drunk plane trip and tour. Afterwards we meet up and did a whole lot of jumps by sandy shores while waiting chewies return. He didnt manage to make it back but we started some off road trails in his honour and i was still going 12 hours later. So thanks chewie for starting out a good day on the xbox. And sorry i was late, i shouldn't stay up till 5.30am when i need to be up for a meet at 10am. Ill never learn. A few pics i got, not many but some at least. I really wish i could name people in these but i meet so many people over the weekend i would just get it wrong so sorry about that lol God these things love water Rebel drove right out of there Some nice rocky wet sections and a lot of lost vehicles I quite like this shot. Last but not least a Bodhi looking dam fine!! Thanks Chewie and don't give up. Try again, i never went to any of your old meets but from what ive heard they were memorable so keep at it man. bigd7775
MTB thanks for the kind words. I am not really giving up on Drive Shaft but I am cancelling it for now. What had happened that night just confirmed things even more for me about my real life commitments. I am going to be backing off of gta online for a while. I will still get on from time to time but I am mainly cutting back. My son is now a year and a half and is really active now. He no longer can sit and watch dad for hours on end wrecking cars and blowing stuff up. Now he wants dad to play toys with him and go outside. So for now I am going to give him my utmost attention. In doing so I will not be able to really plan routes and organize events for Drive Shaft. Hopefully this winter things will change but in the mean time, it is time for me to step aside from hosting for a while lol. yello cactus and MTBB47
