Ph03nixxxx Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Unsurprisingly... THAT WAS AWESOME!!! I love Chewie's meets so far because they're so unique, utterly one-of-a-kind. The fact that this was motorcycles was fantastic because you just don't see enough bike meets around, so with voting & racing & challenges all thrown in together there is literally nothing that could've been added to make this a more fulfilling meet. Great races, really challenging - especially on a sports bike! - and, as it always is, the jumping spot was great fun with a lot of laughs from all. Chewie was, as he is in every meet, so very generous, thoughtful and easy-going. He clearly put a lot of time and effort into it and I'm so glad I was there for it! Chewie, awesome job and thank you so much for hosting and including me. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Gutted there won't be another sooner, but so happy for you with life moving forward for you. bigd7775 Posted February 8, 2015 Author Share Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) Alright let me start off by saying I enjoyed last night and thank you to everyone that showed up. I must sadly announce that last night's meet is going to be my last hosted meet for a while. I am currently looking at buying a home and then will be moving so my life is a little to busy at the moment to try and create an event. I am sadden to announce this but at the same time extremely happy for the next step in my life. So I am sorry for this everyone but hopefully upon my return I will have people lining up and chomping at the bit to get in to the next one. Alright now that is out of the way let us talk about last night. Was a joyous time. We started out going for a tour down to the airport to load up in the titan. We stopped and got refreshments. Pour Phoenix was left on the bus all alone with her thoughts(never a good idea). After the refreshments we arrived to see that the titan was having issues and had been grounded (repeatedly and permanently). So instead we loaded up in the luxor and headed for the first leg of the competition. Upon arrival of the location and preparing to make a pass to land a bird ended up in the engines and we all had to bail from the plane. Luckily almost everyone made it out safely and on target. However Steve was unfortunate enough to have missed the warnings of needing to bail on time. he managed to notice that everyone had left the plane and was able to manage to get out in just enough time to live. He was off target by miles but was still able to get his noble Sanchez on over to the meet. At the starting location we first had a lovely look around at everyone's bike and managed to vote in a couple of categories. The first category was "Best bike and rider combo". The winner of that was George. The second category was " Most likely to win". The of that went to Phoenix. For the third category we had "Best in show". That was a tie Between Phoenix and Cactus. Sadly I lost my picture of cactus and his stead. Sorry mate Finally for the fourth and final category it was "Most likely to lose". That title went to our fearless leader and his hateful relationship to his Sanchez Steve. (He was so ashamed he couldn't even show his face to the camera) As an honorable mention I gave best looking paint job to laststanding321 with his nice looking pikachu bike. After the voting we went on to the first event. Stunt Jumping. It was in Phoenix's favorite area. The winner of the stunt jumping went to george. It was a close competition. there was many great attempts with only so few actually able to make the landing. Here are some images below of the attempts. (Unfortunately I have no further images after this point. They were either lost or unable to take any because of being in a race.) After the stunt jumping we went into the race playlist I came up with specifically made for this event. They are still available on my profile for the time being if anyone wants to try them out. The winner of race 1 went to laststanding321. Race 2's winner was cactus. Finally to wrap up race 3 the win went to laststanding321. So with that said there was a tie for the overall win last night. I will have to get every winner together to fight it out for the #2 driver spot. I am crowning the #1 driver spot to Phoenix. I feel with her tie in competition one and tie in competition 2 has given her the fair advantage. So please everyone congratulate Phoenix for earning the 1st driver spot. The fight for #2 will be determined upon my return to hosting. As a final note I want to thank everyone again for the support and showing up for my meets. I enjoy getting to hang out with each and every one of you. Makes things not seem dull in this game. Until the next time. Keep driving and learning to improve your driving abilities. FailingGeorgew Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Well all I can say is that was FUN loved the start bus ,plane and parachute.I came well prepared Sorry if I was a bit loud.Phoenix turned up looking like a battered housewife sporting a lovely black eye.Loved the style jumping I surprised myself by being quite good at it. The 360 I did landed so sweet I didnt even bottom out my suspension.The race bit I enjoyed and it was great to hear people shouting encouragement when I screwed up.In all most enjoyable well done chewy and good luck on the house mate I know how that is coz I,ve just moved myself.Thought I,d taken more pics but here they are Ph03nixxxx 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I thought the bus ride at the beginning was great although I'm not sure what happened with the Millennium Falcon Titan! Nice combo of stunts and races and I think the lower number of participants than usual, lent itself to the feel of the night. Good luck with the move Chewie,; I hope it goes smoothly and once you get settled and back on the 360, you can count be in for your next event.
