Unless some how a christmas miracle happens and more people sign up this meet is really not going to be a competition. So I am leaving it up to the 2 of you to decide. Option a is I run the meet with the two of you, I try to give you both the best time I possible can with my full effort, then seeing how there is not enough interest in this I will lock this topic. Option b is I do not run the meet, you 2 say nice try you gave it your best, we then see each other at steve's meet that same day, we have the blast that we always do at steve's meet, and I lock this topic because there is not enough interest for this. If you have another option please feel free to share. The choice is yours. No matter what I thank you both for your interest and if we go option a I will give you both the best possible meet I can with the cards that are dealt to me. bigd7775 Posted December 21, 2014 Author Share Posted December 21, 2014 (edited) Alright first off I want to thank everyone that showed up for my first meet. I was a nervous nancy about the whole thing. I honestly didn't think that anyone was going to show up and the ones that would weren't going to be enough to pull off a competition. However thanks to Jamiem pulling in Bunkerbeast at the last minute and of course the lovely Phoenix throwing caution to the wind to come join us as well. So with Steve running a little behind we started our adventure off at the dock's for some voting without him. Phoenix was voted to have the most unique looking ride there. Also how could she not since she should up in a ruiner while Bunker and Jamiem both showed up in rat-trucks lol. Next Bunkerbeast was voted most likely to win the whole competition. Then the final vote was to best looking vehicle over all which Jamiem picked this vote up by a landslide. So with everyone getting a point here they all had a 5 second lead over Steve. Next came the race to the first event. Phoenix was out in lead blowing past the rat-trucks to scoop up another win and another 5 second lead over steve and the rest of her competitors. It was also a close race for second place between the 2 rat-trucks. It was Bunker's to win until he blew past the entrance giving the second place win to Jamiem(no point just honorable mention). Now it was time to start the Figure 8 race. Steve was luckily able to join us for the rest of the event here. Already behind Steve was determined to pick up a win here. It was an extremely close race but Phoenix again was able to pull out the victory. She was riding high because she had no idea she was going to be able to do so well in an off-road muscle competition. Next we took a nice casual drive over to the you-tool warehouse store for the endurance test. Here we were going to run a course where the driver was to shut out their tires and drive on the rims around some obstacles then race to the finish line. However with the last minute additions this was throwing out to be saved for another time maybe. Still with it being muscle and everyone already having extremely squirrelly rear ends it didn't matter to much. This was Steve's time to shine as he made a come back to create a 3 way tie between Bunker, Jamiem, and his self. Since his win here created this tie those 3 no longer had a head start. It was just Phoenix now with a 10 second head start over all of them. We then made our way to the final point earning competition. It was the beach race. It was a close race but Jamiem was able to pull off the win closing the gap between him and phoenix and creating a new gap between him, Bunker, and Steve. We then made our way up to the start line for the Mt. Chiliad final. This was the race to the top. Winner would become my first stunt driver for this competition. Phoenix had a 10 second head start over Steve and Bunker. Next to the line after Phoenix who had a 5 second wait to go after Phoenix but a 5 second head start over Bunker and Steve. Due to a miscommunication Everyone first started trying to make the climb to the top by the hard way. After a couple of minutes I pointed out that I said to get up any way possible which meant they could take the road. Once this was said it was a mad dash to the road and the top. Steve was the victor followed by Phoenix. However there is an * to Steve's win. He made it to the top by not using his muscle car. Instead he was in a normal sedan. So with that being said both him and Phoenix must fight it out later on to be crowned the stunt driver. I will have them both participate in the next competition. If by chance they both take first and second place again then they will both be crowned the stunt drivers. If neither win it will be whomever beat the other in the final event and the winner well also be crowned the second stunt driver. As for the wrap of the meet I held a "king of the Mt." challenge. Whoever was left on top of Mt. Chiliad was the winner of the event. That winner was I believe Steve. Sadly this was the one thing I did not write down.(so please who ever won please correct me. thanks). Now as a final note. At this time I do not have a future event planned. I am honestly not even sure if I will be holding another event. With the small yet extremely awesome group that did turn up I do not know if there was enough people. I know for a fact that once I do get 2 stunt drivers and the lobbies stay this same size I will need to cut a stunt driver for sure or have to rework the whole concept. I just do not know if there is enough demand for this competition. I know I really wanted to hold a Sanchez vs Sandking competition and have both Phoenix and Steve be the guest stunt drivers for it but since they started their own thread for this that idea was thrown out the window lol. I have other ideas I just do not know at this time if there will be enough demand. Anyways any and all feedback about the event and myself as a host is welcome. Be it good, bad, or indifferent I am open to it all and thank you for your time to give the feedback. A huge thanks again to everyone that showed up for my first meet. It was a blast and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to be there to share this experience with. Pictured below in the spoiler tag. You had some brilliant events in here and I think that you're a great, patient, friendly host - so don't stop! Keep going! I'll be very disappointed if you don't. My vehicle choice was a joke LOL Not sure why I got voted most to win (guess no one had driven one yet)I honestly thought that the Rat-Truck wasn't going to make it up the mountain LOL It REALLY reminded me of the first time I went up the mountain in the Sandking....its amazing how far we have came HAHA Look forward to being apart of the next event..... Have always thought the concept was great, and I apreciate how much effort chewie has put into this. I hope it goes from strength to strength now, as it seems to be getting more difficult to get new ideas of the ground which is such a shame ! Would also like to point out !!! I'm the winner ha ha ha !!!! Screw u looooosers !!! Sorry only joking guys it's just I've been waiting for something competitive after sitting out the king of the hill. although I didn't do the chilliad climb in my car after bunker stuck a sticky bomb in it at the bottom ... I tried to remove it and the car blew ! I spend some time trying to call it back but it would not come .... Also who knows what challenge I have coming up next or how I will make you two fight it out for the win. There is also the alternative of there not being another challenge.
