Time of event: List is Closed What is Drive Shaft: LS you ask? Will it is a car competition where every event has a vehicle type, theme, and some racing. We give you a specific vehicle type that you can purchase or just take right off the street. Then we allow you to make certain modifications to it if you wish. Then we meet up a select location. There is then voting on vehicles for select categories. From there we have a few select scenarios in which we put you and your new vehicle through it's paces. At the end of each scenario a winning vehicle is then decided. Finally after everything is said and done we find out which vehicle was determined to be the best all around vehicle for the challenge that was set forth.Here is the current competition, On leave for real life stuff. That is right it is time for me to step up and be a dad for a while. The little one is wanting to play and not watch daddy blow stuff up and wreck cars going really fast. So for now I am taking a leave from this. Check back in a few months. Maybe I will be able to plan and organize something by then. . If you wish to just be a part of this and not be a competitor I could always use picture takers, finish line spotters, and many other tasks that I have not thought of yet that could arise. If you are unsure if something you would do could be bad then ask me and I will be happy to give you an answer. Think first, ask second if appropriate, then follow through if it is good idea. I would suggest postponing the event, i would not lose any faith in you. This often seems to happen on a new style of event (ask De about the difficulty in starting the scanvanger hunt) and then before you know it there is one every night of the week. Will send you a message tomorrow ! might have an idea to drum up some interest, but don't lose faith, with enough people this could be epic and whats more refreshingly new ! Oh man, I didn't see this, already sent you a PM - what a bugger. Agreed with Steve, starting a new concept is bloody hard and I think it was a pretty badass idea too. Do just postpone it, and when you next decide on an event let the usual lot know about it and we'll all spread it around as much as possible. The only reason mine got people interested is because I made sure all of the people we know via Steve's meets knew about it in advance! If I hadn't shoved it down people's throats quite as much I highly doubt it would have gone ahead. Keep us updated, 'cos I want to be a part of it! I was planning to get this up and going this month but due to recent attacks from some organization the postpone is going to continue until things calm down. So it may not be until January. I am really sorry about this but I want my first meet to be a good one. Hope everyone can understand and I hope everyone can enjoy it. I also hope to maybe host more in the future if everyone enjoys the concept. Steve and Phoenix I will continue to keep in touch with you two to make sure we get a time that works for both of you and also works best for the community.
