GTA 5 has earned millions, nay BILLIONS of $$$ (id guess), so im confident to say that those f*ckers at Rockstar OWE US - the old gen players, and WE ARE THE REASON next gen is happening. If this game flopped on our consoles, next-gen wouldnt happen or it would be highly unlikely. We should still be able to enjoy the same perks/upgrades etc that next-gen are offered, as long as our older consoles are able to accommodate them. Ofcourse next-gen can do more stuff, have more detail etc, but I just hope that Rockstar dont forget about us, thats all. That would suck massive donkey dick. If you buy it just for gaming you'll be disappointed, marginally better gaming platform but not near the jump of the last generation change. Online is still limited by communal internet speeds and R* cloud servers. I am going to upgrade to new gen, not only for GTA5 but for destiny, a couple others and new games to come. PS4, in my opinion, looks like the best new gen console, I also have several friends who own a PS4 and love it. Then I'll have to wait till Boxing Day (still a big deal up here in Canada). They have a bundle deal where you can get Ass Creed Unity and Black Flag. Seems like a pretty solid deal. Commander S Posted November 25, 2014 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Got an Xbone as an early Xmas (ha!) present - the white one with Sunset Overdrive (which IMO is reason enough to buy the console - it's the videogamiest video game I've gotten to grips with in a very long time, almost a throwback to some of the more imaginative stuff of the PS2 era). Was waiting for GTA V on PC, but I'm having to use my 'awesome gaming PC monster' fund for a bunch of work-related expenses ( :headdesk: ), so figured I'd just upgrade the console version. Also got an upgrade for the good-but-not-great Destiny for free, and Alien Isolation, so I've actually got a fairly decent starting library for the new machine. Having fun thus far and being patient, they will fix the problems and DLCs are going to be was more expansive than we've seen before. Got the system on Friday before launch and got cod to mess around with over the weekend, but haven't played it solo at all since last Monday night lol. It's the only game I play anymore, and with the uniform reality that Rockstar might stop updating 360/PS3 GTAO, I knew I had to get with the program. Only played to the end of Franklin's first mission, but I'm realy liking the changes. First person mode is really cool and I like it a lot better when it comes to aiming. The little speaker on the PS4 controller is cool too. I like how you hear people on the phone through it and that's where the phone rings through. Can't wait to get a little deeper into the game and check out online.
