I created a second character, just out of curiosity. A sexy, auburn-haired lady character in a little bikini. growwr!

 

However, after creating the character and launching the game, she had a dunce cap on. As said previously, I think I'd have to open an entire new account to get out of Bad Sport, but seriously...

that trick worked back in the day...not anymore!

 

back in the day bad sport would be separated for each character, patch 1.10(Valentines) made bad sport shareable between the 2 characters. so if your main character is bad sport, your second get the dunce too.

And yet I see people in Lazers just spending half an hour going from one car to another wrecking people's PV's with fly bys (which has to get freaking expensive, I don't care if you're rich, with people driving around Adders, Zentornos and the like, $7-12k at a time adds up) and people try to kick them and nothing.

 

The BS system has always been a joke.

Solution for you people who are stuck in Bs. Move to the north part of the map. Boy I tell ya since I moved up there its been real peaceful . And they have everything you could want. It's such a nice change of pace I just might stay after I get myself out of bullshi.. I mean badsport.

You seem to know a lot about the Bad Sport system. If i blow up some cars (in Good Sport) i always do some missions the same day. Do you know how they influence the bad sport points? Does it even help? Or do BS points just decrease with time?

as far as know JP help decrease the bad sport points, so yeah doing missions and stuff with other players help.

 

you will find me doing missions or racing with other players once i get to dodgy status.

Just finished a 2 day stint, didn't play the game any differently than I have for the past year but alas, blew up a bounty as he was getting out of his car and I'm in BS.

the biggest problem with bad sport is that you get segregated from friends too, which is stupid.

 

if im bad sport, i should be able to create a Invite only and have my friends join me, after all they are my friends!

blowing up PVs is only one way.

 

blowing up PV + Report + Kick Vote is the formula that would get you in really fast!

Been there several times, so i think i can answer your question. First of all, Bad Sport is a faulty system. Its very hard to get in Bad Sport right now. But things were different, shortly after release.

 

After i've been in twice, i went in again, on the same day i got out, because of running over a single passive player. You can kill 10,000 of people with your tank, jet, or be wallbreaching, or invincible, and you'll NOT get Bad Sport.

 

Quit a job, because players would troll around, so you'll never finish the mission, and you'll be the one, getting Bad Sport points. Run over this moron, who killed you 20 times with a tank, after he died & quickly went passive & you'll get Bad Sport.

 

Blow up the reversing Zentorno, and you`ll be the one getting Bad Sport.

 

That being said, i've been in Bad Sport for over two months from May to late July, because the damn timer just wouldn't work. Oh, and you'll not enjoy Bad Sport, believe me.

 

Nobody in there is playing missions, doing races or anything else. You want to play with friends? You can't. You want to change your hat? You can't. The only thing you can do, is having 'fun' in free roam, with cheaters.

If i were Bad Sport, i wouldn't buy this game again, but R* should atleast reset it, so my next sentence would be 1day or 2days, instead of ridiculous 4 months.

I'm no GTAngel and I earned my way into Bad Sport for some reason.

it's just a ridiculous consequence for playing the game the way it is designed.

 

Think I'll buy a Shark Card again (I've bought four)? No.

Think I'll buy GTAV for a Next Gen console. No.

I'm an older gamer and can afford to go broke and pay for my millions in Shark Cards.

I'm not complaining about the "rules," I just don't agree with them.

Because bad sport is lonely and you cant play with friends plus blowing up cars in bs adds time so it doesnt really work

 

If it worked as such. Ok you like being a dick bs no playing in normal lobbies publically but inv only or friends only shouldnt be counted nor should you gain more time for being even more of a dick

I'd normally be playing GTA Online at this time of the night, but I don't play the game when I'm stuck in Bad Sport lobbies.

By the way, CarimboHanky, the last time I was in Bad Sport a few months ago, I asked you to tell me how to glitch out of Bad Sport and you told me you didn't want the method getting leaked. I understood why you didn't want to tell me and let it go. But next-gen GTA 5 has practically already dropped and you're still keeping it a secret. Don't be like that, brother. Help someone out who's been playing since Day 1 and is sitting here on his computer instead of playing GTA Online because he's in Bad Sport. Fight the good fight. I'm not your enemy. You have to learn to trust someone eventually.

it saddens me to inform you that my method doesnt work anymore.

 

i planned on making the thing public on monday at 12:01AM, to liberate all the badsports before the release of newgen V but, making the test in preparation to record a video tutorial with a friend i discovered that it doesnt work anymore since the latest hotfixes.

 

my method was nothing but a small variant of the patch 1.04 LSC glitch.

 

1-set spawn location to last.

2-get any cheap car you can sell.

3-go to lsc

4-sell the car and quickly go to the pause menu and swap your character before you spawn outside.

5-switch back to your main character.

6-Done, you would now be off bad sport.

 

you dont need to repeat this glitch unless you land in bad sport again!

 

you can test it to see if it works for you, but after many attempts i just couldnt get it to work.

I find it a load of bologney. Sure, I understand if you're acting like a real pain (Spawncamping someone for ages, etc.) it might be justified, but destroying vehicles just seems silly. Why not just pay the insurence fee and be done with it? Again I'm fine if it's for major greifers, racists, hackers, etc. but come on!

 

Same with abandoning jobs. Once again maybe your power went out, etc. It's not a HUGE hassle to the other players afaik. It's not like they wasted hours of time, and they can just attempt again with new people. =

 

Killing players in passive is a major troll move, but paying hospital fee is enough. Heck, they can jump infront of your vehicle so you get the penalty, etc.

 

I've never been badsported but I've blown up a few PV's.

 

The good news was the system was tweaked a while ago, now someone with a bounty can be blown up in their PV without consequences, and you REALLY have to go on a rampage to get badsported for destruction, but still.

 

Getting it for reports, maybe. But that's how it is now, and it's ripe for abuse.

 

I think we should KEEP the cheater/hacker pool, but drop the bad sport lobby, or just replace it with something different alltogether. Why not simply have bad sport be the dunce hat for a little bit, no ban, etc.

 

Likewise, why does the penalty DOUBLE each time? And from what I've read, once bad sported you're very likely to get back in for minor offenses.

 

We can even have it something like parole. Doing missions, commends, etc take off a big chunk of BS time. (Supposedly that is how it already is, but I can't confirm.)

5 days... you know how long i've been jailed? Over 3 damn months! 2 of them were 'legit' and another one, i've been in, because my timer was glitched. Been playing GTA IV (MP) & Red Dead Redemption (SP) in that time, but its still a pain in the ass. Next sentence = 4 months...

Can't edit or reply the correct way right now, however:

 

@toybasher: At your last sentence... it doesn't really help, maybe it did at one point, but not since May 2014. Missions, Commends, etc. do not affect your BS, if you're already in BS. Your time wont drop a bit.

 

If you're clean, you can get as many commends as you want, it doesn't affect your next BS sentence, it doubles each time, no matter what you do. The only thing MAYBE happening, is reset your BS points for this session.

 

At this point we just don't know enough. We don't know how many cars you currently have to destroy, how many passive players you have to kill, and apparently it decreases by time. How much? Nobody knows.

I always smile when someone hits me with the explosive rifle and my body explodes into guts and blood.

I had some twat pull the reverse-with-bullet-resistant-car to me a few times the other day, blew them up each time, f*ck em! I got 14+ million $ so a few thousand isn't going to make a dent, but why the hell should I receive a bad sport warning when they're the one using their PV as a shield?!
