slimeball supreme
Great map of my country. But they could've made the cars handling a little better, along with the graphics, and made it optional to play online. The connection errors are annoying The map is not really accurate and some cities could fit on there.True, but it's still really good.

bloatedsack
The last update with the awful new PVP mode killed it for me. It was bad enough I had to deal with one completely useless (to me) game mode where you have to hit the targets, but to basically double up on useless game modes and then have them change it into that weird random pick mode really, really, ruined it. Gouveia
I've seen a lot of Wild Run videos lately and... Yes, I can say I'm hyped to play the expansion. I really, really hope it's good.

bloatedsack
Hi there, I'm new to this game... now how do I earn money ? Play til you unlock the online lobby, then go online and make massive cash and XP regardless of where you finish in the races. Then you can coast through the SP campaign and hate yourself for avoiding all the effort of having to try hard at the races.
Flachbau
So when is that fancy DLC dropping? I've seen videos of it (probably Gamescom footage?) and the graphics look like they got a bump up.

bloatedsack
I assume if I checked my email, I got a code for this. I got one from Rainbow Six, and I've never registered with Uplay for any of those, but have for the Crew. I've been enjoying this again, recently. I only hate when the awful king of the hill or target modes pop up in PvP, a hatred second only to Performance Class which may as well be renamed "LaFerarri Class." So, is it any good? I expect I'm going to grow irritated with monster trucks very quickly.

Guest Billy Russo
Alright, I sold this game a while back, but when I did have it I really enjoyed it, mostly because of the Map, and just exploring all of the different cities etc. This is directed to those that got Wild Run, what did you think of it? There's a complete edition sitting on PSN right now, and I'm stronly considering getting it as there's no games coming out soon that I want tbh, and it was pretty fun last time I played it. I also heard there was a huge graphics overhaul, and that was a gripe I had about the game, that it was a bit rough looking. Honest opinions? Guest Billy Russo
So I did end up buying this after all, took a chance without even knowing much. I noticed the change in Graphics immediately, SO MUCH better. It's not just minor changes here and there, they really did overhaul the whole look of the game. The weather effects are awesome. It doesn't compare to Drive Club obviously, and it'd be silly to expect it too. But the size of the map, and all of the exploration, I'm really impressed. It used to look really rough at first. It runs smoothly these days too, there was a lot of server issues at Launch. I haven't really got around to all of the DLC content yet, but I got a ton of cars free for getting the Complete Edition. I think the deal lasts until the end of next week, at least in the UK it does. It's pretty much a steal IMO, I wish I hadn't paid last year and sold it. Great bang for your buck now. A bit like Destiny when I re-bought that with Taken King.
Huskerboy42
Does anybody think that the Wild Run expansion will ever go on sale? I have $20 refunded in my steam wallet and really want it... but don't want to spend $5 extra dollars if i don't have to.
bloatedsack
Yes. However, not until there's a sales slump or a push in release of paid-for content that they want people onboard for.
x
Wow, the graphics update and photo mode really made this game something else. Might be getting back into it now. LightningLord, EVOLUT7ON, Ivan1997GTA and 1 other

CReaper210
I still want to get into this game sometime, but I'm a completionist and this game is really intimidating in that aspect. I was really looking forward to it before release and ended up just getting occupied with something else at the time, but after seeing more things about how long it takes to get 100%, I got a little nervous and just put my purchase on hold indefinitely. It's a really conflicting mindset to have lol. It's why I tend to prefer to play more linear games. It's a similar case for Metal Gear Solid 5 for me as well. I just watched yet another video of The Crew and it looks so cool. It's like my dream racing game in terms of scale, content, and customization. But it's just... intimidating to me. luisniko
I've been looking at this to be my racing game. However, I don't know about this and I'm pretty much disappointed by NFS Rivals pointless repetitive objective over and over again. I was going to buy last Friday, but I ended up didn't after watching around Youtube again. Does this game have objectives like NFS Rivals? Is there any tactical side of modification like GT6? Because sure as hell I loved to tweak my cars to win there. The map is no question. I love the fact that there's no invisible wall on street sides. I just hope there's a The Crew Wild Run repack disc for my region, tbh.. Edited January 24, 2016 by luisniko Ivan1997GTA
x
If you want competitive racing, look elsewhere (Forza / Gran Turismo). This game is solely for cruising around and mucking about with friends. Really loving this graphic update and photo mode though, probably going to be my go to PC game outside of GTA 5. Guest
Here, have a video! Debating whether I should pick this up or NFS. They're both full of problems and bugs but if you had to pick any it should be The Crew. The only thing NFS has is a decal editor, The Crew does everything else better. luisniko
How does the community behave in this game? They like to f*ck sh*t up like in GTAO or mostly calm, do drag races, show off?
lolznc
This game is solely for cruising around Can't disagree there. With the new photo mode and (pretty impressive) graphics upgrade, driving across the map is certainly a lot more enjoyable. My main criticism with cruising would be the limited radio soundtracks, but playing a Spotify playlist with the PS4's inbuilt app thing easily fixes that. Yeah, watching streams of both games it seems The Crew is more fun, has more content and variety, not to mention the huge open world and day/night cycle. I think Ghost dropped the ball twice with NFS and the PC version. I'm picking up The Crew next time it goes on sale. I love crusing with my friend but I've found more enjoyment out of Forza Horizon 2 (still arcadey but more options for assists etc). Plus I can't stand that damn shifting controls, like why the hell is it the analogue stick? I want to look around dammit not change gears
luisniko
Yes. I use Manual gear too and the game just doesn't allow me to change it to my GT control (L1 to lower, R1 to higher). I got a used copy on Monday. The game's impressive from the map to the loading time. But I'm not pleased with the triple currency (Bucks, Crew Credit, Uplay) to fuking unlock stuff up. Like seriously. Edited January 28, 2016 by luisniko
