UtricularEwe001
"Today, a source confirmed that Ubisoft has been working on an all new racing franchise called "The Crew," being developed by Ubisoft's Reflection's Studio. It's been described to me as a "realistic title, possibly being positioned against Forza and Gran Turismo." http://www.examiner.com/article/rumor-ubis...crew-at-e3-2013 Possible GT/Forza Competitor? -The Crew will offer a game experience close to DRIVER: San Francisco.-The gameplay is rather semi-arcade, accessible, fun and efficient. -The open world is in North America, with the possibility to travel between New York City and Los Angeles (reduced scale). -Like DRIVER: San Francisco, the map will be similar to “Google Maps”. -In “freeride”, players will be free to choose between missions or challenges. -Multiplayer will be competitive and co-operative with an upper limit of 8 players per-session. -A companion app for mobile devices will be published -The source of this leak tested the game on the Xbox 360 console, but previous job listings seem to hint that a PS4 version is also in the works. -The release date is expected to be announced before the end 2013 OP will be updated as news comes. Master of San Andreas
I'm 100% sure that this will be a next-gen title and hopefully it does come to PC. It sounds really interesting but I'm sure that this will release after Black Flag and Watch Dogs, sometime around 2014.
lh1
I am interested merely because it's developed by Ubisoft Reflections. However, I don't really like Car Simulation games.
GunWrath
Hell with that, what about R6: Patriots? We have enough racing, bring back R6!
The Pizza Delivery Guy
Can't wait. I love racing games. This had better be different than GT and Forza. We need a breath of fresh air in racing simulators.

Vercetti42
Interesting details, free roam seems to be very interesting, waiting for more. IMO it looks way better than Rivals, Forza or GT 5. I'll put my hands on a Spring 2014 release.

SuperVeloce
Looks pretty damn good, liking the map size. Looks kinda NFS-y with a bit of TDU in there, which has my appraisal. Can't wait to see more.

The Pizza Delivery Guy
Now this is what I wanted to see. What I wanted to see in a future GTA was the entire U.S. designed EXACTLY like the real U.S. from the biggest city to the smallest town. This isn't quite what I wanted, but it's close, and it means other games may be able to later as well.

RoadRunner71
I have confusing feelings against this game; I'm dissapointed because I wanted a new Driver, and I don't like the type of gamplay shown, with these races and tuning, but I always wanted a game where you could drive all around the USA. Is it confirmed if the map is fully opened? (I mean if it's possible to take a road and travel from IE east to west, or there are just closed tracks) But the best... A MOTHERf*ckIN' 1967 CHEVY IMPALA SPORT SEDAN!!!
AndyGanteks
Is it confirmed if the map is fully opened? (I mean if it's possible to take a road and travel from IE east to west, or there are just closed tracks) Yes. Drive from LA to NyC without loading times and what not. You'll obviously run across many challenges adn all that, but yes you can do simple roadtrips from one end to another...

Sgt. Foley
If you can do that, this could turn into my new Forza Horizon. I used to get a stock car and I just cruised from one side of the map to another. Best feeling ever. I hear that you can smash through pretty much everything, is this true? AndyGanteks
You can't smash trees, but other weaker obstacles yes. Also, official site, still WIP and not much content, but it's cool: http://thecrew-game.ubi.com/portal/en-GB/home/ edit: http://www.gamespot.com/e3/the-crew-is-ubi...wsroom-6409529/ From 1:00 to 1:13, they say it'll take 2 hours from west to east coast...seems just about enough and pretty darn f*cking big. Same here, about Driver and the USA map. Ever since Pilotwings on the N64, I always wanted an updated small scale USA map. I'd use the Gyrocopter to drive along the streets all around the country. They even had a working gas station.
Fireman
AHAHAH, DID YOU SEE THOSE GRAPHICS? Welcome to 2004. The giant map and being able to race everywhere (as long as it's America) does sound really awesome, but come on now... dem graphics.

I think it's safe to say that games like this doesn't need graphics like NFS / GT.
SuperVeloce
I think it was originally being developed for PS3/360 but they changed to PS4/One at some point, hence the graphics. Or so I heard.

The Pizza Delivery Guy
Oh who gives a f*ck about graphics, NASCAR 2000 is still one of the best racers on the PS1 and it looks like total sh*t. If anything, this is on par with Driver: SF. The_Herb
