Throwing the ultimate in an arc before was a great way to beat the detonation time, and now that the time is shortened, the ultimate in an arc is just ridiculous.

Got the Lucio selecao skin yesterday. Only need the tracer and zarya skin and i'm good to go.

 

I'm so happy that there was a huge banwave a few days ago. R* should take a note on how to deal with cheaters. A bunch of them got hardware-banned and that's probably the reason why Blizzard got DDOS'd yesterday.

Lol they're so salty. Yeah I figured the DDoS attack came from them.

 

The arc method is so effective lol. My favorite use of the ult is still in choke points. Surprised people don't run away from it faster. That's how I got the "Game Over" trophy.

Getting lots of Summer Games duplicates now. Really sucks that there's a possibility that I won't get some of the other skins, but at least it gets me to keep playing. I got Genji's and Torbjorn's today, along with Lucio's soccer skin but the all white one. I'd really like the other color variant, it's much nicer and Mercy's Swiss skin would be awesome to have too.

 

Blizzard themselves said that they want the items to be rare and special which I can understand, but it still stinks that you can't get specifically what you want. Playing the hell out of this game until I at least get the Mercy skin.

A dude left my team in competitive so eventually someone else rage quitted, then two other people rage quitted as well. All that was left was me as Lucio and this Reaper and I wanted to stick around just so I could not get penalized for abandoning the match. So the Reaper wanted to stay too, so we ignored the objective and sat in the spawns on Lijang Tower. The enemy team showed up and tried to kill us but of course it was no use because of constantly health given in the spawn.

 

The Reaper managed to teleport in near the end of the round and score a triple kill ultimate for the lols, and I myself switched to Widowmaker and headshotted like seven dudes, including a Hanzo who was trying so hard to take me out, and he switched to Widowmaker near the end of the round before I blew his head off again. I can't even be mad, it was a pretty fun and different experience and props to the Reaper for being a good sport. The enemy team even tried to be lame and go Bastion but the health in spawn let me snipe him twice before he eventually gave up. It got so bad that some of them even stopped coming over to our spawn.

 

Also got this today, ugh, really? Got so excited when I saw the Gold, only to get a duplicate. I got the other Lucio color variant for his skin though which is great. I really wish I'd just get the Mercy one already though, only one left I would kill for just cause I especially got tired of constantly using her Sigrun skin, especially since most Mercy players have it. I'd use one of her devil skins at this point if I had them, but rocking the Cobalt and Amber in the meantime.

Did you guys know you can survive D.Va's ult by standing on top of the mech? I found that out today by accident. Not sure if it was a bug but i got pushed by Phara and ended up on her mech and survived somehow with zero damage.

Finally tried out Competitive Mode this weekend. I have no idea why I waited so long, it was the most fun (but really stressful) I have had on Overwatch. Ranked pretty sh*tty though at 49, but quickly rose to 53. Want to see how high I can go before the season ends. Even managed to get the remaining D.Va trophy (and that awesome digital spray) by using the defense matrix against a Pharah ult on the control point in the Greece map. And got more clips for another D.Va montage.

I wish they'd balance Genji, it's his role to break up defense using stealth but he shouldn't be able to run into a team and leave unscathed which defeats his point.

Getting really tired of playing Mercy. Not because it's getting boring or anything, as I love playing support but I'm getting sick of people not protecting me and also letting me down, especially when I damage boost them. It's happening way too often now, especially when Mercy is without a doubt the hardest healer to use due to her complete lack of offense. Zenyatta can easily take out most targets, especially now that he's buffed. Lucio's gun isn't too shabby and on top of that, his incredible mobility makes him a harder target in all situations unlike Mercy who only becomes tough to shoot when she has teammates to fly around (which is usually never for me). Then Ana of course can hold her own with her sniper rifle, and most teams don't use Ana as the only healer anyway, so it's not like she has the responsibility entirely on her shoulders.

 

Also another thing that is really bothering me as a Mercy player, and someone who uses all other characters as well, I wish they would just remove Play of the Game if they're not going to make it better. Really sick of seeing Genjis, Reapers, D. Va's, Hanzos, Pharahs, Junkrats, and McCree's getting most of the plays of the games. Especially Genji since if there's a Genji in the lobby, there's a 95% chance it's going to him. I don't understand how I do this:

 

 

 

And yet a stupid McCree still gets play of the game for getting a high-noon triple kill in the previous round?! I can respect multi-kills for Play of the Game but not when they're these characters who are just "Press Y to Play of the Game." I wish they would lock them all out of Play of the Game unless they achieve at least four kills with their ultimate, and buff the damn chance of a healer getting Play of the Game. I know it has to be complicated to include different factors to contribute to getting Play of the Game, but they can't make it better I'd rather have it just removed so it can stop glorifying basic-ass gameplay. I know they require timing and setting up to pull off, but they shouldn't blow other characters's chances of getting POTG out of the water.

Deflect needs to be weakened or movement needs to be slowed.

 

Not sure what his hit points are (I've never used him), but if they're better than Tracer's they're too high, also.

 

At this point, he's fast, small, can escape in any direction, and has a multi-second defence against any projectile weapon shot at his front. I get that he's supposed to be hard, but he can basically out manuvere anyone plus deflect (and destroy) anyone that manages to lock him down.

Genji players really piss me off. Wish they'd all go drink bleach lol. Way too easy to abuse, and after encountering a team of 3 Genji try hard trolls I no longer do Quick Play. Much rather do Competitive or boring ass AI.

 

And yeah POTG needs to be looked at. If there is a Junkrat on my team it is a guranteed POTG for him. More so than Bastion or Tjorbin.

One good Genji carries a game, especially if everyone else is built to support him. I get that's a valid tactic, but it's not a fun tactic.

 

I also know that I'm pre-disposed to hate Genji because I enjoy Bastion immensely, but when I pick someone else I struggle almost as hard as I do with Bastion. That's the problem.

 

Tracer's almost as much of a pain, except you can generally figure out about where she'll appear next. That's the big difference. Also, I think she takes less damage.

 

I finally decided I didn't give a sh*t about competitive rankings, and I play it like I play Quick Play. I'll never break 47, and generally hang out at 42-44, but so be it. At least I don't have to deal with an entire team (mine or versus) picking one hero because they think it's funny.

Overall the whole game is more enjoyable when you just play for fun. Plus I seem to actually do better and win more playing this way than going all try hard, which is a nice bonus lol.

Honestly, it can be vastly more fun because you don't need to worry about loaded teams of people just being stupid. On the other hand, if someone else likes your favourite and locks ont hem first you'll neve get them.

 

I've had several frustrating games where I saw someone pick a character that would've been very useful but was just wasted. Then again, I'm sure others have the same reaction when I'm in game and I grab their favourite.

I'm trying to main Mercy because I recently got her Sigrun skin and this is one of my biggest complaints people don't seem to realize you're on their team and when you damage boost them they run right into the other team. When I have a Mercy on my team I ALWAYS make sure she's okay, and when I'm D.va it's easy to backtrack the person harassing her.

I had this several times. If you ask them nicely they'll usually switch off.

 

I don't see many Mercys running around since the Mercy nerf/Zen buff. Zen + Lucio is the new meta.

 

I'm currently rank 58. If anyone can carry me to 60 i would really appreciate it. (Need those 200CP )

So there's a bug in lucioball allowing you to be other heros and basically since you can kill the opposing team, win everytime if you're Bastion or Torb.

 

 

I'm sending this to Blizzard to get these guys banned.

Ranked games are pretty much an uphill battle and I honestly hate how mmr is setup lol. One match sets you up with teammates with good communication to ensure a victory. Then the next match completely sets you up to fail with some players that completely don't know how to play at least 1-2 heroes in any category.

 

This week was hell for me lol. Went from 41 to 51 one day, back down to 46, climbed back up to 51, and back down to 49 yesterday. I feel like the only way to climb the ranks is to find a really good team that knows the 2-2-2 strategy (zen-lucio specifically)
