Do people set less bounties these days?

I have read many epic stories of people doing epic/fun stuff while they had a bounty on thier head, but i have saw one bounty in the time iv been playing ;-; do bounties happen less or have they always been this rare?

Most bounties are either glitched godmodders or will lag out when you kill them so you earn no cash

If I could set a 70 thousand or more on someone I would. So many fun chases would happen. Would-be Bounty Hunters knocking eachother trying to claim their prize. People would try to cut em off with stickies, snipers, rockets, or more creative ways. 9k in this game is chump change.

to be honest, nowadays i set bounties only to destroy a PV without paying insurance or bad sport, this is what i do.

 

for some reason this days people seem to have their PV access set to "passanger", so i kill the mofo, go to their pv and place a sticky inside the passanger door, i get on my car, wait for the mofo to respawn, teasing the mofo by doing a burnout, the moment he get on the pv, i simply call lester, set a 2k bounty and BOOM!!!

 

so people if you get killed by me, chances are i would rig your PV with a sticky!

I still place bounties, and quite often on randoms after watching the killfeed and seeing what's going on in the session. I've also had random $9K bounties placed on me quite often as well, so it is still rife. I guess it just depends on who you end up with in the session.

Played since launch and rarely set 9k bounties. And I've never really been poor. It always seemed like 1k bounties had the same effect. People pretty much attack the icons regardless of amount of $ they will make

Do people stil chase bounties? Money's even easier to get now (not that it was ever difficult). No need to go to the hassle of chasing someone when you could have done a mission for more cash in the same amount of time.

I only get bounty's from NPC's when I jack their ride. If you put a bounty on a real life player, they immediately leave. They go sit in a invite only session and cash your money. No fun in that. I rather call MW or a mugger on real d*cks.

I second that - I used to put bounties on players but too many people just hide and leave (you can make more money during that 45 mins through stick-ups and selling cars that sitting around for that 9K bounty to time out)... it's too easy for people to log out and dodge any bounty hunters. I used to chase them a lot but these days unless someone crosses my path, I rarely go after them.

 

Same with having a bounty on your own head, too - the fun has been taken out of it thanks to people carpet-bombing in jets.

the bounty system lately lags so it became kinda a stupid thing and either the most people playing are modders and dont care about the money or especialy this: people now know doing missions and other sh*t is more rewarding then chasing bounties

I set bounties quite a lot. Never $9K though. $2K does the job. Either to blow their PV or get others to chase them. Then after Lester phones back it's time to call Lemar.

If they do raise the bounty cap...perhaps have the time extended to about a week in game time....before you see any funds given to you..the time adjusts to how big the price on your head is.
