I'd kill more if we were actually rewarded.. Kill 600 players, and all I get are these stupid weapon tints. That's not really a good incentive, especially since the guns look a bit tacky with them.

The only people I don't shoot on sight are people on bicycles. I leave them be or run protection for them against the rest of the lobby while they impress me with their stunts.

after green tint, it looks ridiculous. LSPD tint looks good on about 3 guns in the game and 2 of them are DLC

I have been playing in invite only and joining people for jobs only. Maximum profit, no dickheads around. Got sick of free roam being treated like a DM when there is no reward in it... the people that keep doing it are the ones spending all their cash.

I keep running into red-dot f*ckheads that just go around shooting every single player in the vicinity. Generally speaking, I don't fire on people if they don't fire at me.

 

Hell, I even let people take my bounty off me. They get money, I get the freedom to do whatever sh*t I need to do in peace.

I don't think I've ever shot anyone on sight, unless they pulled their gun out first

Its sad that a lot of people still do it, but I've realized that some people just want a fun friendly shootout with other people in the lobby, even though that's not something you'd want to be a part of cause you're trying to get somewhere or do your own thing

The way I see it is if someone kills you, they're expecting you to play with them and shoot back, but if you run away from them and try to blow them up or hide in your house, they'll get annoyed and start being an asshole about it

I could stay passive. I could play Invite Only. And I should. But I usually don't bother, so as I go between missions, or change sessions, I spawn and (because the world is large) I usually don't have anybody around me. But when I do...like tonight:

 

First one tonight, I spawned in, on foot, and I saw a white dot not too far away. Within a few seconds, I saw his arrow point toward me. I figured I had about 2 seconds to duck for cover before I got sniped. Ducked around a corner and hear an explosion behind me, rocked the screen. It is just so f*cking typical. I got away.

 

Second one tonight, returned to free-roam from a Gerald mission, saw a white dot around the corner. I figured I might have time to start another mission before the asshole came after me. But alas, he gunned me down just as I pressed the mission start button. As I was respawning, I could see in the fuzzy loading screen that the little bitch was hightailing it away, about 3 blocks and still going, after his easy free kill. Level 19. Little sh*thead. I slapped a $1K bounty on him and started my mission. About 20 minutes later, on another mission, I got the notification that the bounty had been collected. I consider that to be revenge.

 

Bottom line, we know that the GTA0 community is sh*t. It could be no other way. Given that reality, Rockstar went ahead and produced a brain-dead twitch shooter, and had the f*cking nerve to call it a "bold new direction." My ass.

Either way, yes Rockstar did give us guns to shoot people because that is definitely a big part of the game. You can't even complete 95% of the missions without shooting something or someone. It's not going to happen. Your logic is skewed and somewhat twisted considering your comparisons. You need to get a life if you want to compare irrelevant circumstances to each other. Nevertheless, shooting other people is a big point to playing the game. Whatever their reason for shooting other players, it doesn't matter. Why should it matter? Get over yourself. Every GTA game has been about violence and guns and crime.

And to answer another one of your ridiculous comparisons: yes, I should bully ugly people. It makes me feel good because they are ugly and they should know it. It's my job to make sure of that. My biggest pet peeve in a session: Don't start crying over the microphone about how "I wasn't trying to kill you, asshole!", that's true maybe 20% of the time. But if I'm in an obscure corner of the game or out on the LSX tarmac, you have no reason to be speeding up on me at absurdly high speeds in a sports car. Doesn't help if it's a Zentorno. If you start coming up on my ass, I'm going to blow you up or try and kill you. I don't trust people who do that.

Are you retarded? One of the first lines she says: "just what you choose to do in that world, is up to you." Then a little bit later: "make friends or ENEMIES." This is being said all the while people are shooting guns and killing and being chased by buzzards. That's not even mentioning the fact: when was the last time you saw a trailer for something advertise every single detail of what it was showing? Never. (i.e. heists, movies IRL, etc.) You are literally denying the fact that the game is based around crime and killing. This trailer simply shows how we would be able to work together if we so choose. That's right, it's a decision. Not a requirement. Get over yourself.
