I see people in free roam and I don't know them. Or in some cases DO know them, and I'll want them to help me unlock weapon tints. Currently army tint for the sawed off shotgun, and orange tint for the heavy sniper are close to being unlocked.

Most annoying are the people who kill you while you're semi-afk and then run away.

It's even worse when you're calling and can't go passive

 

Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make the select menu unusable when calling?

Im confused. Are you new to GTA? If so, how would you know everyone kills on sight? Also, why do you and all the other mindless guys go by people? Because in my world I learned not to trust anyone in this game. Everytime I give someone approaching the benefit of the doubt they try an run me over or kill me in some type of way.

I guess there are still new waves of little sh*ts who have recently gotten the game for their birthday, and it's still a rush for them to get easy kills, playing GTA0 as they jump up and down on the couch, giggling gleefully with their little playdate friends.

 

Some of these little sh*ts are level 150 or so...

 

 

I agree, OP, it's a problem. I don't use passive as much any more, as I cycle through free-roam for a minute or two between missions, checking my phone, or the job menu. So they get me sometimes, out of the blue. Back when I used to spend a lot of time in passive, little assholes would unload a few clips on me anyway, hoping to get a cheap kill. Simple people play the game in simple ways.

Should we all run through free roam, hands locked together as we skip down the sidewalk? Damn R* and adding guns. This is supposed to be a friendly utopia where we just do jobs together and go back to our apartment and jerk each other off.

Unfortunately I tend to end up aiming at but not shooting other players while I assess their intent, which generally they see as a threat, leading to a short but bloody gunfight...

 

It's a shame Passive Mode is so broken because if it worked it'd be quite useful in terms of likeminded players grouping together. Even my fellow GTAF crew mates tend to shoot first, apparently...

On occasion just for fun when I get bored I'll go on a killing spree. I usually kill AFK players once or twice. Or I kill a player who is repeatedly killing another. I like to kill tastefully or I will murder you if you follow me or try to blow up my car.

killing afk is tastefull? I mean, I do it too, but I don't pretend my way of killing is more tasteful than anybody else. Or my way is playing is better than anyone elses. I kill anybody for any reason. Don't give a sh*t about pretending my way of doing it is tasteful or not. You're an a**hole just like me and any other griever on here. Just admit it.

Forget killing on-site, those f*ckers that go out of their way to kill you on the other side of the map are the real jerks... Like, really, was it really worth driving 7-8 miles just to kill somebody that joined the lobby? Jackasses. ._.

And anybody who complains about it when I kill them, or even f*ckin messages me before I kill them at all, just because I'm in a jet, will get killed relentlessly until they leave.

I rarely kill people on sight unless I feel that someone is out to get me and then once I get into that zone. Then you might as well turn your butt around and keep it moving unless you like to get killed by me.

Had an RR last night where this exact situation was happening, must've been 8 little kids playing one character all cackling into one microphone, and being complete idiots and finding it hilarious. Something as basic as ramming into another player's car was sublime comedy to them. It'd be nice if there were some way to segregate them into kiddie pools so I could get some laps done without being splashed by underparented snotnoses the whole time.

 

I try to pretty much play only with friends as much as possible.

I don't know why anything would change as far as in game behaviour just because the game has been online for a year. People play how they play, I've just come to expect it. No use complaining about it. Go passive and climb sh*t if you don't like dying. It makes people more angry when they can't kill you anyway.
