People actually enjoy killing you more if you're friendly, defenseless, and minding your own business. They don't get a high off of killing players who are fighting back.

I agree with this. It's the little cowards who come out of nowhere and get a cheap easy kill on me, while I'm idling between missions or just going somewhere. That's really all there is to do in this online f*ckup.

 

 

If I get myself into a fair fight and get whupped, I deserve it, and that is more like how free-roam is apparently meant (by Rockstar) to be played. All of this complaining (which I do plenty of) is just because Rockstar is too f*cking stupid to create a passive or PvE lobby where people can just have fun together. Instead, everybody is forced to be a paranoid asshole. Or just a regular asshole.

From experience, I can tell you that is such a lie! Lol, miniguns, reverse supercars, hit-and-run trolls, explosives, corners clutching, free-aim is just as bad as auto aim. Lol, I've met a fair share of jackasses, especially in jets..

OT: I am a peacefull white dot player and don't really attack unless provoked and this has gotten me a lot of friends. I remember when the LTS update came out I was in a Free Mode lobby near the Suburban and I got about 3 others to team up with me. Six Red Dots came up in a 6x6 Dubsta and started a huge war and over half the lobby was there. Me and one of the Reds were sending texts in game and we ended the war with me and him making a truce and adding them to the friends list.

 

Later we went on a rampage in two Police Riots. People were hanging off the side, sitting in the back with Combat MGs and me and the Whites were on the Riots roof keeping the helis away with Miniguns. Later we almost filled up the Titan too. Awesome lobby.

 

Moral of the story: Don't shoot on sight and send texts to your enemies in a non asshole way.

Off topic, kind of... I believe I was in a lobby with you not long ago. While I was sniping you were running around killing people and one squeaker kid with a British accent was hollaring out, "Furry Monkey!!! Everybody get Furry Monkey!!" I swear that was the funniest lobby I've ever been in, still hearing it in my head. Assuming that was you, I thank you for that hilarious moment in time.

 

There's no way I can complain about the random killing with that in mind...

It's a video game that puts a gun in your virtual hand. What the hell else do you expect to happen? Besides, there's nothing else to do in public free-roam.

 

Got some advice for you OP, there are no friendly randoms online. It's kill or be killed, such are the harsh realities of GTA O.

Had a guy roll up and hang around a couple of days ago with me and my crewmates for something like 15 minutes (another MC guy so we were cautious at first because these kids love to flex) before pointing his gun at my back to look at my emblem. I stood still for him to look because he'd been cool until that point then suddenly POP! The f*cker gun butts me and we had to kill him until he ragequit.

 

Another one yesterday, Hell's Angels guy this time (you know that patch is a trademark, right guys?) Rolls past while my friend is getting a new haircut, cruises past a little way then gets off his bike and starts walking back towards me. I've got my gun out to be on the safe side, he's got his out too, real tense moment sh*t. All of a sudden he lifts his gun and honestly, I'm proud of how smoothly and quickly I shot the centre of his face out of the back of his head.

 

So yeah, people not only still shoot on sight but they pull this dumb sh*t too.

Yeah. Beacause if I don't shoot them they'll damn sure shoot me. I trust no one except people I have added. No blue or colored ring around your dot? You're dead. Tried that friendly in free mode thing once before and it got me shot and blown up.

I don't kill anyone, I just do my own thing, if you wanna roll with me it's all good, but if you kill me or blow me up I will bring revenge to your doorstep. After I get my revenge I just leave the session, no need to add more damage, because if that person kills me again then I'm going to be chasing him or her around the map for hours and hours because they want to run away scared and hide.
