MythAlex
> Some songs have been removed > the .EXE has been changed to support Xinput (Xbox 360 controller support). And this new .EXE crashes the game if you use Asi Loader sh*t update. Good thing I made a backup of the game before. Now I have GTA SA 1.0 + my mods back + no removed songs :-) Edited November 7, 2014 by MythAlex
lil weasel
What patch. There has not been a Patch since the Original Edition was patched to prevent modding (Official Patch v1.01)?

Wheatley
Removes several songs for ALL OWNERS (Seems to be same songs that were cut from the mobile version) Removes several resolution options, including 1920x1080 (This was broken in the original version, then fixed in a patch - now unfixed with this latest patch) Adds support for XInput controllers (Xbox 360 controller) Makes "Steering with Mouse" enabled by default Loading a game save from the original version just starts a new game Crashes during car explosions if another monitor is attached This was taken from Rockstar Nexus: http://www.rockstarnexus.com/article/208/San-Andreas-updated-on-Steam-removes-songs-and-reverts-fixes Luckily, I still have the original retail 1.0 PC game so I'll just stick with that. FulVal85
for some problems (that was also in 3.00 version), try to use windows 98 compatibility mode, "run as admin" mode, and add the .exe file on DEP exclusions and run steam as admin works fine here, and also my savegame still works fine... Removing songs probably requires replacing radio station audio files with edited ones, so that would be some of that. Can someone explain how Rockstar could possibly think that losing the rights to distribute these songs requires them to delete them from already purchased copies??? I don't see how they have any such right or obligation. They could release patches that update the game while leaving the audio files you have intact. raxp
If they have legal issues with music and they can't sell SA copies with it anymore, why they did not made some DLC or something, which would be exclusively to current SA owners, to return music back? Because they'd still be distributing the songs, which they're not allowed to do. Then again if it's free I'm not sure what the rules are but they're probably still not allowed.
