Acky.
With the release of GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One just around a fortnight away I'm wondering how much gamers are willing to pay for the updated, new-gen version of the game? With purchase of around £40 being made for last generation, how much do you think is acceptable this time around? I have been looking on websites, at the prices of the game, and the cheapest I have found is around £43 ($68), and the standard price is close to £50 ($79). How do you feel about the pricing, and have you seen any for cheaper? I'd like to know, because I'm becoming increasingly reluctant to spend £45 on a game outright, at release. Yoona
I don't have PS4 or Xbox One but prices here are very similar, 43£ in cheapest stores, up to around 49£ in more popular ones. Of course it's converted from £ to PLN. PSN price is crazy though, 55.5£ (299 PLN) I'd pay full price even though I bought Special Edition for PS3 for around 56£, but I'd never pay that much for digital version without blue print map, manual, normal map, steelbook, Blu-Ray disc, exclusive in-game items oh, and you can't sell it too. I will be buying it day one on PC, price on PC is around 30£ atm. Edited November 7, 2014 by Yoona
Glass Cloud
Payed $59.99 on psn. Fully worth it even though I got the last gen when it came out. I traded it in with my 360 to get a ps4 in april so It'll feel fresh to me. And I plan on playing it until the next GTA comes out in however many years. Andreas
I might buy the GTAV PS4 bundle at the end of the month, which would cost €399 if I'm not mistaken. I want to get a console for platform exclusives so that would be a nice opportunity to play V on it until it arrives for the PC. Given that the PS4 on its own costs €399, the game's for free when and if I buy the bundle. I am willing to pay the full price for the PC version, and that would be €60. MrVance
What kind of question is that lol? I`ll pay however the game will cost and it can cost 200€ and i will still buy it. If you look at it, the game is cheap. Paying 65€ (PS4- EU) for such game is very little money compare to hundreds or thousands of hours of fun it gives you. At least you know where you put that cash. Or you could just waste the same amount on 1 night drinking. What`s better?

Sure eb games price match, but you shouldn't need to ask for a good deal, Jb and Dick give you a good deal, straight up. I have no idea where they pull $99 price tags from.... dimitrispgr
I bought 360 version for 57 euros one day before official release date. I ve already orderd remastered edition for PS4 for 53 euros and also get it one day before official release date. In big stores it costs 69 euros here. Small stores take a very small profit to sell more (i think) And PC version plus a 4k pc sometime in the future. I also own all others (1,2,3,VC,SA,IV,TBOGT,LAD) in a crazy offer steam made once. 10 or 13 or something euros. DaRkL3AD3R
Considering the fact that I can trade in my 360 copy for at least $30 at Target, around $32 with tax. Not bad. Seriously? Wow. I have a special edition 360 copy lying around wonder if I can trade it in for that much. Gotta check that out. Also absolutely no more than $50 officially on Steam would I consider buying. Ideally I would like to pay less. Now if the game was launching on PC in 10 days alongside the consoles fairly, I'd go full on $60 even for a digital regular copy. But dick me over twice? Nope. They're getting as little out of me as possible. I'm gonna try for a second hand key off a site like GMG or G2A. Screw them.
Raynos
$109NZD. If they brought out another collectors or special, it'll be full price. Willing to pay full price. To me it's worth it, awesome game filled with fun.
