GTAO: Animals?

Love the upgraded visuals. Love the increase in player cap. However, I always feel that in GTAO the world feels stale.

I've seen that they are upgrading the pedestrians and traffic in SP, but what about in GTAO? Is the wildlife still around? Anyone know?

There damn well better be animals. Rockstar can get away with stringing everyone along on DLC and heists, but there will be a lot of ANGRY players out there if it turns out they paid 60 bucks for a new game and there aren't any squirrels.

I wanted the addition of having a bounty, and making players choose to risk driving up Mt. Chilliad while I'm sniping them, or finding cover and hoping a mountain lion isn't going to run up on them.

Honestly I think it is a big deal tbh, animals peds and trafic completely transform the world, I would expect this to be in the next gen release

Well, the first person turned out to be true at least. Not that it couldn't have been assumed from the trailer, but still. So this might further point out to animals in GTAO? Notice how the question is in red and there is an interrogation mark on the end of it though, maybe they were still reviewing that possibility when it was posted.

I hope so, tbh i think they will be there, i think they've put too much work into all these new animals, for them to be only in SP, Rockstar knows the money is in MP I hope they're in MP.

I don't see why. The hardware limitations are sky high compared to last gen, so I highly believe it will happen.

 

Otherwise, I wouldn't care much. I have already got used to the miserable dead world on last gen.

My problem has always been the game being baren outside of LS and the roads. No animals, and all the farms are empty, all the woods are empty, no reason to go walk around out in the woods, unless you really love trees.. No threat in the ocean, nothing to see, nothing to interact with.. It gets boring very fast outside of downtown LS.

Animals were nice in SP until I hit my 58th deer, then it become monotonous.

 

I wouldn't mind a little more life in the ocean, though.

Agreed! To me the little things such as this are a big deal! I've already been dreaming about just being able to go diving in the ocean checking out all the wildlife and having near death experiences with killer whales/ sharks
