LT. Ronald C. Spiers
I remember I was seven years old, and one of my dad's friend just bought me an awesome video game system that was too expensive in Brazil at the time. He brought it from Paraguay, together with 4 discs: the default PS demo disc, Doom, Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown and... Grand Theft Auto. Ah Grand Theft Auto 1, what a steamy love affair I had with that game! It truly was ahead of it's time. Gives me goose pimples just thinking about it
Jerome
This exact console, the same color, still have it on my shelf working regularly . and a classic PS1 with Gran Turismo. Like that's how I started to have a passion for cars too. Edited November 12, 2014 by JayJay35

I have very fond memories of the top-down GTAs. I remember when I was at the mall with my parents and I went all "Oh, look dad, they made another one!" when I saw someone playing GTA2. We bought it right there. Me and my dad spent the whole weekend playing that game together. To be honest, GTA is the game that makes me buy consoles, so I can say. I got my PS1 with GTA1. I bought my PS2 to play Vice City. I bought my 360 to play GTAIV. I bought the PSP to play LCS and VCS. And, after my 360 gave up, I bought my PS3 to play GTAV. LT. Ronald C. Spiers
AND YES! YES! A MILLION TIMES YES! I loved this game back in the day, soon as I came home from school, this went right on, well this and Grand Theft Auto 1. Gotta be honest, this is a pretty tough game to top when it comes to old skool video games, it was just the best from beginning to end, and that music by Nobuo Uematsu is still magical to this day cos it takes you back to them moments in the game that you'll never ever forget
na89340qv0n34b09q340
Gamecubes brah. My school pal Michael had one at his house. We'd play Super Smash bros together (with his sister, and our 17 year old friend) after kindergarten every day, some time around 2002/03. His sister usually won, f*cking yoshi eggroll. Alternatively, my dad let me use his gameboy to play Link's Awakening sometimes. I really liked that maze where you had to follow the sign directions. PalmIsland!
When I did begin to play videogames, then we must go back to 1997 to the Playstation 1 where I did play Air Combat 1 and Ridge Racer 1. First GTA game I did play was GTA2 on PC. I have played video games for 17 years. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Combat http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ridge_Racer_(video_game)
AnotherDave
We got out first computer when I was about 7 years old. My dad, my older brother and I went to pick it up from a smart looking man who lived an hour's drive from us. I remember his house. Dark wood panelling on the walls, dark - almost black - carpet and a red leather sofa and recliners. It was the early 90's so that kind of thing was just about acceptable. My dad haggled the man down a little, as is his way, and we left with an Amstrad CPC 464, complete with monitor and a leather case full of games on casette tapes. In amongst the mediocre titles were some gems; Flimbo's Quest, Outrun, Head Over Heels, Harrier Attack. My brother and I played those games for hours. Some of the casettes were damaged and the games only playable up to a certain point, but it didn't matter, we would just started again from the beginning. And ever since then I've been a gamer. We Are Ninja
My dad had an Activision, and my brother and I had a Sega Master System and a Super NES. I didn't get "into" gaming, though until the PS1 came out. Walked into Gamestop (back then, it was Funcoland) and saw Ridge Racer Revolution with the White Angel on the cover. The idea that that car was hidden on that disc somewhere combined with my burning desire to obtain and drive it was what got me involved in gaming.
