Nope. But that's sweet you're looking out for your forum buddy like that. Remembering is not holding a grudge. However, if I were holding a grudge (which would mean he was making an actual point versus talking out of his ass) I was right and he was wrong.

 

Since he was wrong, I was just giving him more confirmation of his wrongness.

 

 

I'll have one final go at making it crystal clear to you, why you are incorrect. I'm not trying to "get one over on you" or anything like that. I'm simply explaining it as clearly as I can.

 

1. I said that it was speculation that high-end apartments would be needed for heists.

2. You said it was not.

 

That's all it boils down to. It *was* speculation. That speculation has turned out to be partially correct (only the heist planner needs the room), but that doesn't alter the fact that at the time it was nothing more than speculation. Now if you're saying that our conversation was any different than that then please, please quote relevant posts that actually back up and explain why you disagree. Quoting me stating the fact that it was speculation does not back up what you said. I am not denying ever saying that. Why would I, considering that it is correct?

 

It's not admitting defeat to accept this, as it's a forum on the internet. It means nothing in the grand scheme of things. But you are arguing a point that is simply not correct.

That's what I had for a while, until I ran out of garage space. It was nice to have all of my trucks and dirt bikes out there on Procopio Drive, and my cars at Tinsel Towers. I ended up selling my Paleto house for a second apartment. If there was a property near Mt. Chiliad with a 10-car garage, I'd be all over it.

as soon as I could , I got a 2 car garage , then sold it and got a 10 car garage , then sold that and got an apartment with 10 car garage included but I thought I could own both the 10 car garage + apartment ( with 10 car garage included ) but I had to sell the other one. I guess I can only have both if I make a 2nd character , but how does that work ?? ...... do I automatically have access to both characters garages / apartments when using either character ??

Neither. I personally enjoy my house out in Blaine County. I enjoy houses more than Apartments and Garages by themselves, though there is a downside with how many cars they can hold. I realized that I didn't really need three ten car garages, though. So, I really do enjoy the houses a lot more than either.

Well apart from the constant rampaging and COD environment of GTAO that I usually like to (have to....) enjoy, I really do like the rpg side of GTAO, & so for the sake of convenience I own the Tinsel Tower Apt as it has the closest access to LSC, to the ponsonby clothing store so I can purchase any clothings released through new content, the best hairstylist in the game, the gun store is also quite close, and all land pegasus vehicles can also be accessed on the rockford hill road which is also very close to this apartment. I used to own one garage near the airport but I sold that now because before there used to be a short-cut entrance to the airport from the back of the airport LSC, where couple of the net fences were breakable so you could enter the airport from there but they have fixed this in the next gen online world so now its really annoying to enter the airport I usually just use the mercenary heli and skydive in to the airport when I need a plane & also thanks to the merc. heli i have no need of the pegasus helicopters unless I'm in a mission and need a buzzard. So, pretty much now so that its convenient for me to rearrange my garage if or when I please I purchased all 3 apartments located in Tinsel Tower. But in all honest if they ever released 10-car garage or apartment in Blaine County I would definitely trade in one of my tinsel apartments for it, its really hard enjoying the desert when you have to travel to it all the way from LS.

At this point in the game I have Weasel 101, which holds my supers, Z-type, and future Roosevelt. My Richards Majestic 51 (Best combo apartments, so close together) holds my 10 sports cars, lastly my Tinsel Towers 42 apartment holds my leftover classic, offroad, and muscle cars which won't get organized until I can buy Eclipse Towers 40 as my 4th apartment. You know its inevitable.

I like variety but each porperty has a strategic significance, 2 are definitely keepers.

 

I have a high end apartment off 3 Alta st (w ten car garage), house in Paleto Bay (6 car garage), and ten car garage near high value car theft related location.

 

An apartment gives a player chance to sit and relax watching other players on TV, especially ones he may have sent mercs. mugger after or posted bounty. One I watched stuff in LS from my house in Paleto Bay (calling mercs, muggers, etc), I got so enthralled with onetime - called Pegasus for my Buzzard, flew to LS, departed heli, then killed that player in person with carbine rifle. I guess the safety of my apartment was just not enough.

I'm considering changing my tinsel tower apt for a ten car garage, possibly by the airport. Then i have my old Alta street place for heists and down the line I'll get another 10 car garage. Can't see a point in two apartments - there is only so much you can hit a virtual bong, i even use my garages as a spawn spots. Sucks to run from far side of my apartment, only to get to the garage.

Alta is a must with the easy access to the Subway tunnel and bring very close to two LSC/Carwash/strip club/convenience store.

 

Del Perro for location to beach and other shops.

 

I also enjoy the 10 car garage across the street from Lesters warehouse (it's a hot bed for activity after finishing PS heist and it was great for that easy Rat Loader exploit back in the day)

I got two swanky pads in LS, the first in Richards Majestic and another in Eclipse. In reality tho, I hardly ever go to them and they serve simply as 10 car menus for when I use the mechanic. Home is a 6 car house at Paleto bay. I just wish the smaller properties came with views

Speaking of garages, instead of Rockstar just adding a new garage, I hope that they do it in a restrictive way. They add two slots, but one has to be mid end, and the other low end. This may seem weird, but if they added two more slots that could be anything, I'm just going to buy 10 car garages so I get more vehicles. But this way, it would force me to have a variety of apartments, so I can have the mid end, and low end, without feeling like I'm wasting a slot on something that can't hold as many vehicles. It would add variety to the different apartments I own.

I invested in one of the most expensive apartments to have the rebuilt interiors and use it's garage for my best and favourite cars and also to keep the armoured vehicles "just in case". For the other cars, I prefer to buy garages because they are more affordable and are functional. The differences between apartments are more just the design since they all have pretty much the same activities, I'm OK with just one. Maybe some day if I collect so much money I have nothing else to spend it I may collect all the properties, but obviously that's not a priority now.

i prefer my garage over on supply street, since people are very rarely over there

 

it's ironic how the "richer" parts of the city are overtaken by e-thugs, while the poorer areas are somehow the most peaceful.

 

 

 

not to mention, there's an LSC and an Ammunation down the street from it, conveniently placed across the street from each other. and around the corner and up the street from those two is a store so i can stock up on snacks.

I prefer the garages honestly. most of their locations are off the main path and I don't have to worry as much about getting killed trying to drive out. I keep one high end apartment on each character so I can host heists though.

I prefer both. I like the garages because the make it more realistic. I was disappointed when I found our Rockstar used high end garages for these small ones scattered across the city. It kinda defeats the whole purpose of getting...you know..a garage?

Main character has an apt in Alta, tinsel and del Pierro.

 

2nd character has an apt in Alta, and Richards Majestic and the Greenwich Garage at the airport. It's great to use as a quick gps to the airport or to the safest LSC in the city.

 

Wife's character has the half a mil apt that's up the block from tinsel, the 6 garage apt at the boat docks, and an Alta apt.

 

I like to think of our 3 characters as the Alta street gang
