How to place props at any angle

I'm getting a bit bored and wont be on next gen until next year so i decided to share a couple of glitches i haven't seen on here or youtube.

 

How to place props at any angle

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. place construction fence where you want prop.

 

2. place the prop you want to use on ground

 

3. click edit, then pull prop onto construction fence

 

Note1. sometimes prop wont go on side and gets placed on top of

construction fence, to fix this place the construction fence at a slight angle

on the edge of a small ramp

edge o a small ramp

 

to get containers on side at ground level

1. place construction fence on end of ramp

 

2. delete ramp then pull container onto fence.

 

to make container tunnel/ramp

1. make a long ramp and put fence on side of it

 

2. delete ramps and pull container onto fence

Is this still working in 1.18 , Or am I reading your post wrong?

 

When placing the object I want to be on it's sibe, do I need to use the pullback method, or switching prop to prop, or prop number switching?........ should it just be placeable after placing it on the ground and clicking Edit?

yes it still works with 1.18 and 1.04

 

use pull back method, put construction fence at the angle you want prop,

then place prop on ground, edit then pull back onto fence

the pull/push method is a lot harder to do on current gen imo, at least on my Xbox One.probably because there is a difference in input lag, which is the base of this method. in practice this means i need to accelerate to a higher speed and hit the A button further away, as anything too close to the desired placement point (in this case the blue fence) won't work.

I have made races on PS3 and xbox360,

I noticed a difference in the timing of all the glitches we use, but I thought it was more because I'm not use to the xbox pad. (had playstations for 20 years any other pad feels wrong to me)

it doesn't work if the fence is straight up it need to be at a slight angle

Boom! Got it, placing the first fence at an angle was the critical bit I was messing up on... Thank you for getting me on the right path
