DaRkL3AD3R
I won't believe anything until I install this f*cking game on my pc and see it for myself. ANYTHING up to that point is PR bullsh*t and lies are possible at any moment. RedIndianRobin, GAMIR_GTA and SAVILLAIN
MythAlex
What about GTA Online? How will it survive on PC if hackers can modify the game??? :-\ The DRM would be good for GTA Online, I think.
Aleph-Zero
Not sure if posted already. I think this discussion doesn't make sense anymore. -edit- Of course it is posted, but i guess we need a reminder at least every page to make this die off ¬¬ Edited November 7, 2014 by Aleph-Zero

CookinSmokeey
All f*cking simple.. Why can't think this ? : - You will be free to mod your GTA V. But you can reach only single player. When you select online side, game will give message : "your files are changed, please use verified files and re-try." You can copy your modded files or original files, whatever. What were you thinking ? How can we play on GTA : Online with modded files ? lol. Go and play MTA San Andreas or something..
TimmyM56
One thing I don't understand is, why is everyone so against having mods online? Hear me out, I'm not talking about god modes, stealing cash, smgs that fire rockets, etc. That's unfair. What I do mean is, what is so wrong with me keeping my ENB on? Maybe a mod for no HUD or retextured guns. Stuff like that makes sense to keep. Modding online is not a fun on evil, some of the best GTA IV lobbies online where modded ones, spawning in fun cars and stuff. SilverRST and YG.
qwerasdzxc
Denuvo Co-founder Robert Hernandez denied in a statement to IncGamers that Grand Theft Auto V will make use of the DRM. In a further statement to DualShockers he mentioned that the reason for Rockstar’s presence in the partners panel on Denuvo’s website is simply that the developer used the tech in Grand Theft Auto IV, but they’re not going to use it in any way on Grand Theft Auto V. PC gamers can now breathe easier. MythAlex
Okay, so no more DRM. But what about GTA Online cheat protection??? I don't want to meet hackers again, like in GTA 4.... which use god-mode, teleport us and crash the server.....

Andreas
R* ever said there wouldn't be a NewGen version?Rockstar never specifically said that there would not be a next-gen release at some point. They did, however, point out that they had no info to share on the subject, which is as vague as it gets. Anyway, it's time to put this thread to bed because at least two sources stated that the co-founder of Denuvo denied the existence of the DRM in GTAV PC. Not to mention that this thread is going in circles and it seems to attract spam, so there is not much left to discuss at this point in time. Might be better if we wait for an official confirmation. For those interested, you can discuss possible anti-hack, anti-cheat, etc. measures for GTA Online here.
