I think it had some outlaw or ruff rural patriotic gangs, can't remember specifically  but such gangs aren't in GTA 3. 

 

Lol hopefully the buyer will soon enough start giving out info then.

Odd statement, even in the time period of GTA3's production dnb had already made it's way to the states - plenty of artists, notably 187, 2tuff crew and a host of others were putting out jungle/dmb releases in the mid 90s, culminating in jungle/dnb orientated events and radio shows. Now I can't say that dnb in the US at that time period was as popular as it is in the UK, but given that MSX FM is stylized after pirate radio, I think it fits in quite well for the time period.

 

Side note not to derail the topic, Freaky Flow was also a key player in exposing dnb to canada. If you have time check out DJ Freaky Flow - Obscene Underground, Vol 1, great mix.

I’m just mildly annoyed because it’s been like a week and so far nothing new. You’d expect there to be lots of talk and hype about this new revelation though

But how long does it take for something to be shipped from Seattle to Italy (assuming that’s where the guy who bought it is from since that’s where the website is)? I shipped a laptop from America to Poland and the process was shorter than this, sans custom checks

You have to account for the time it takes to research it, extract the info, link it to other sources and then write, voice and edit a video... Might take a few months.

Itd be at least nice for them to be like “hey guys check it out it showed up” after letting us know that they were the ones who got the final bid on it.

 

Plus I’d like to think they’ll scan and upload all the stuff before worrying about making a video (making a video for the views/fame before uploading the good stuff is zzcool tier ulterior sh*t imo) but I dunno, maybe I’m expecting too much of them.

I don't really judge, guy paid 1k for it and that is quite a price for a handbook basically. 

 

Above all else, they're running a large network that makes them money, it's their right to focus on gaining the views before anything else since that is probably a big source of income.

I just hope they upload the whole pdf instead of only making one video that focuses on a few pages of beta content that confirms what we already know. That’s literally all I want out of this

Yeah I agree... and for remaking purposes we really need HD scans so that we can get every model detail out of it for GTA3D. 

 

They know how crucial this is to the remake and they also know that only modders can bring back to life what is stuck written on those pages. Alessio said that he is up to discuss this matter once the video is up so I am positive.

I just wish a pdf or scan of all the pages was determined to be happening other than “up for discussion” but idk it’s probably the pessimist in me

Nope rockstar never intended Claude to have a voice in the early stages as such theories were debunked by rockstar over on their qna for GTA 3 10 year anniversary.

Nah he had a voice actor. If you watch the credits, he is still on there... His voice actor is by William Fiore.

Can anybody shed some light on GTA 3's top down camera mode? After all these years I just started using it for a prolonged period of time. At first I thought that it was just an Easter egg, but no there was actual thought put into this camera mode. So I was wondering was GTA 3 originally going to be top down? I mean the camera angles you get when traveling around staunton island are really suited to the top down camera and the angle when crossing the draw bridge going to staunton is very reminiscent of GTA 2.

I think it was just for nostalgia. About the game originally being top down. Well... The game was going to start out top down and then to 3D in a cutscene (according to early story boards. Also how f*cking cool would that have been?!)

No word yet on the contents of this document? Really hoping that Take Two hasn't shut this down. After all the game is almost 20 years old, I don't know why Rockstar would even bother trying to keep these secrets anymore.

Nothing as of yet, expect to hear about it after the guys at GTASV finish their RDR2 playthrough I guess.
