While I'm thinking about unreleased things of mine, I got a map for IV that Frank.s and I were doing. I wasn't doing much though, since this was back before I could model and I was just an idea guy. Basically, from what I told another dude about it...

Yeah, to make a lengthy story short, Frank.s was making a map set in some small town surrounded by mountains and coincidentally, I was visiting a similar town in Colorado, so I took reference pictures for him and some other ideas that he implemented. He did the modelling while I took pictures of stuff, did radios and other idea guy stuff, etc. and there was a playable build of it that sadly I don't have anywhere. The build in the picture you see there never made it ingame, but it's just an extended version of the playable build with more roads, etc. Everything has borders so it's just a matter of getting the terrain filled in aswell as buildings, etc. placed in it to make it feel like a town. And yea, it did get cancelled. Not because of any technical limitations or anything, but rather because Frank didn't have a desire to continue working on it. Which is kinda sucky but then again, that's what he'll do usually, just start one project, make a bunch of progress on it, and forget about it sadly. But from a technical standpoint, it can be done if there's enough time & focus allocated to it, which we could do like you said.

 

This is what it looks like. If anyone wants to pick up on it (because I'm getting choked up with nostalgia), let me know and I'll send the files over because I don't want it to show up on a Russian mod site PRIVJET LOOK AT MY MAP I DIDN'T STEAL FROM ANYWHERE. Also if you're gonna do anything with it, make sure you credit Frank.s because he's the true brains behind it.

I already took the III Sentinel and made it into a German squad car for the Europop 3.0 Pack.

Here's another thing from the archives, Criminal Bagpipes.

 

So forever ago, Chris_lolwut wanted to make a UK-based map mod called Criminal Bagpipes, but that never went past the planning stages. Then in 2015, he and I decided to get started on making it for real in San Andreas. We got a neighborhood full of terraced houses done but then we stopped because of real life stuff. But again, if you or anyone else wants to do some UK based maps, give these a try for sure.

It all looks very cool but I'm not going to pretend I could ever do anything with it. Is the car based on anything in particular? The back reminds me of a Mercedes.

It's an Opel Manta B. Idk if they ever sold in the UK though, maybe as a rebranded Vauxhall though

The European cabover ones? I think I cancelled it because of some collision or dummy issues, like one of the trucks would slide across the ground instead of actually drive on its wheels. If you like I could find the files if I still have them and send them your way to see if you can fix them when I get back into town.

They're probably waaaaay far in the back. Either that or Savidge might have some pics stored away somewhere.

Thanks but no thanks. But I will give you the link to a 2-door Savanna someone already made. Just rename the .dff and .txd files to "voodoo" and put them in.
