Nothing other than some ideas I ran by him that I'm waiting to be implemented and other vehicles I wanna do specifically for the town.

Let's hope this mod isn't made by a politician and he actually delivers what he promises. That mod truly is promising and i have high hopes for it. I hope it doesn't die like the 90% of other promising mods.

Whenever a mod dies it's always due to some bullsh*t. Drama/sh*tflinging between the team, or they abandon it because "muh school" "muh gf", which pretty much proves that if you're going to do some big TC mod, you need a team of shut-in nolifers with all the time in the world.

Look what happened to the now ancient Myriad Islands mod for VC/SA. That was a giant clusterf*ck. Worst thing that happened was one of their biggest team members, the mapper, Odie passed away.

At least back then, creativity was encouraged as far as mapping went. Now it's mostly converting X to Y.

Yeah, the golden age of modding was like 10 years ago (more or less). And back then most of the modders were dutch too, for some reason.

I dunno what kind of vehicles your making for the Angel Pine Project, but I thought i'd just throw this out there. I lack the skills to do much more than what I have already, but I was messing around in Sketchup and I thought the Journey cab would make a good van. It'd probably look nice grafted to the front of the Newsvan, but there's no model of it on sketchup and I cant zmodeler.

Oh dang, that looks nice. It reminds me of those old GMC vans from the 70s. I remember trying to do something like that but it annoyed the sh*t out of me because I didn't know about lining up seams from back then but by all means you should keep working on it. Just fix up the rear end and you got a nice looking thing.

Is it fine if I use some of these cars for a mod adaptation of a concept that I have? Here are the cars I'd like to use.

 

1. Satellit 601.

 

Description:

The car of the working class. Perfect for someone who is supplied money by a collapsing welfare system in return for letting the state leech off of their dependency.

 

2. Opus Mantis.

 

Description:

Get behind the wheel of this mean machine and prepare yourself for sex, drugs n' rock and roll like it's the 1980s all over again.

 

3. Bobcat Technical II - new name: Stampede 210, a.k.a Armored Bobcat.

 

Description:

An African model of the Bobcat, used by the Sudanese in the first years of a civil war. They stopped making good use of these after 16 years of fighting, so they just gave them to us to buy themselves some upgrades.

Somewhere in this poster I made from all the recent work on the mod, I bet a Satellit is driving around on Staunton Island.

 

(I'm actually trying really hard to get the Satellit 601 into the game through some fiddling around in Blender and TXD Workshop. Also, brighten and contrast this image in GIMP in order to find a small secret)
