Sure, I could give that one a try, doing a civil version of it and all. My one concern is as to whether or not its been done before but f*ck it, might as well do it and throw in a cab variant too!

If you're doing a civilian LVPD car, do you reckon the Broadway rims would suit it?

Or you could use these which I just made, they're an edited version of the Clover's rims:

But the question is, what to name it? The VCPD Squad car I named the Makina, the Benson cab I named the V-Series, but what would I name this contraption? The Brigham or something? What the f*ck is a caprice supposed to be?

I always thought the Stainer was more applied to Crown Victorias and stuff. Speaking of Caprice, I got a bit of history of the name according to Wikipedia...

 

 

The Caprice name was coined by Bob Lund (Chevrolet's General Sales Manager) after a classy restaurant he frequented in New York City. Some say the car was named after Caprice Chapman, daughter of auto executive and influential Indy-car official James P. Chapman.

I simply suggested keeping the Premier name. It would make sense, the LVPD simply didn't use the new iteration yet as of 1992 in SA, I guess (again, both the unnamed template for LVPD cruiser and the Premier are based off Caprices).

Why are people trying to connect the premier with the unnamed Taxi/squad car from VC? One's a Chevy, one's a Ford.

Again, that's why I named the VC equivalent the "Makina" as opposed to "Stainer", because it was based on a Ford LTD and the Stainer was based on the Ford LTD. But yeah, I could try with Premier. I keep forgetting it's based off a Chevy Caprice, it always reminds me of a BMW or something for the damnedest reason.

I named the civilian LVPD Cop Car a Chevalier. I don't know where that name came from, but it suits imo Still the cars are very nicely done.

 

Those are my civilian Cop Car/Taxi names for the 3D Universe:

LC Cop Car/Taxi - Stanier

VC Cop Car/Taxi - Vulture

LS/SF Cop Car/Taxi - Premier...

LV Cop Car - Chevalier, but I could have chosen Portsmouth instead. It would fit too.

@Simon L. Lezin - I dunno how a Civilian Enforcer would work. It already kinda was done VIA packer if you count that.

Hm if you look at it, yep it's really similiar in the name. I thought about the old Chevrolet's and due to that car being based on a CHEVROLET Caprice, I meant, why not? Also I edited the post with my car names, check it if you want.

About the civilian Enforcer, never say no. I saw a civilian Ambulance for VC one day and it was an awesome civilian truck. Believe me, it would really work

VC Cop Car and VC Taxi should be also called Stanier since those cars are based on Ford LTD Crown Victoria.

 

Chevalier? I think Fugitive is better name.

The boxville from SA is based off an late 1970s-1990s GMC-Chevrolet (Brute-Declasse) van, while the ambulance seems to be based off the Ford (Vapid) E-Series from 1992-2007. I thought of naming it an older boxville like the '92 Boxville but it seems the ambulance and the boxville are made by different manufacturers.

i think Speedo will do good as a name for an civil ambulance, yeah. Because they both look alike, the SA Ambulance and the IV-V speedo

I've changed minds, actually. the speedo is a van like the pony and the burrito, but the ambulance is a big van with the rear to store stuff. the original ambulace rear doors don't actually fit if it's a civilian version, how about an boxville rear door and light part?

I know for a fact the Ambulance in SA is based on an E-Series, but I don't know for sure exactly what year. Sure, it looks like the one you posted, but very very loosely based on it. Sorta like how the Journey cab is based off a Chevy camper, but only very loosely. But yeah, ideas are always welcome.
