The cool thing I didn't know was the glitch when get in a taxi and hold the button to start then leave and enter another car and then let go and then the mission starts in that car

The Carbine rifles model in this game was reused in another Rockstar game called 'State of emergency'

The Carbine rifles model in this game was reused in GTA Vice city and GTA San andreas

Umm no. It is a III Exclusive model (VCS has a M16 too but the model is different). III has a M16 while VC/SA have a M4. :p

Oh, ok :p

Looking at the gameplay, the one seen in State of emergency is definatley the III one.

Sometime during the DJ banter in between songs on Lips 106, you can hear an instrumental version of this song from GTA 2.

There are rainbows in GTA III. >______________________________________________________>

Seriously, I hadn't known about this until several hours ago.

Off-topic, but I'm curious: does anyone know if there are rainbows in GTA IV?

This pissed me off when I first listened to the GTA1 theme on III.

Within the game's files, the model for the dam is named "GOD_DAM"

The BF Injection Joey was working on during his mission is actually owned by Misty. At the end of the game, you can see a BF Injection parked outside her apartment. In Joey's garage, you can also see a leftover of the Beamer (the alpha/beta Sentinel).

Also, the scrap car models are named: "car_f*cko,lof*cked_car and f*ckedup_skewlbus" in the files.

Also, evidently if you zoom in on the police reports on the GTA 3 site, you can see that contact information for the LCPD is on the report.

2joK1.jpg

The only things I can take from it is the area code for the phone number (373) doesn't exist, but the zip code (49525) is for Grand Rapids, Michigan.

III ERA LIBERTY CITY IS IN MICHIGAN evidently.

Well, it is supposed to be a generic North American City, so fair enough. :)

I hadn't known this until, I guess, 2 hours ago!

When you take the pill pick-up, your punches actually become a lot stronger. You mostly kill peds in 2 punches and literally send them flying almost every time. :D

Oh yeah. The pill pickups are not just slow motion, they're adrenaline, which gives Claude more strength. That's why he can flip over cars by running into them and sh*t.

Well.....That is how to perform the Crusher Glitch to DP any Vehicle in III, you know...You need a passenger in your Vehicle when performing the Crusher Glitch. How to get a passenger? Either a hooker or activate the Taxi Mission in your desired Vehicle you want to make DP...

Speaking of the crusher, you die instantly when you go inside it, no matter how much health you have.

Wow, that's really in GTA 3? Fantastic art, but that compression just makes it look horrible, haha.

It's to be expected for Rockstar to reuse assets. Fascinating to think that Rockstar more than likely has HD versions of all textures used in the 3D era games. Very nice find!
