No worries about it, amigo. Hell, it was quite a nice feature. Shame they didn't really implement it into any other III era games and by the time they sorta did that with IV and V, you barely noticed it.

The Indian taxi driver doesn't always drive the taxi. I've seen the ped with the blue Hawaiian shirt driving a taxi on rare occasions. Just a little gem that gives the game a bit more variety.

The blue Hawaiian shirt guy doesn't have the headphones, the black dude with the green jacket and ball cap does.

I always though that sound was someone with a heavy wallet. Never noticed it was always the same ped.

And those sex shops closing during day are a nice detail too. Even if they say "Open 24 hours" when open.

Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder...

^ How far out can you walk on that?

Reminds me of that demolished building in Portland you have to climb up to get that hidden package.

Some interesting things I found out in past few months/years:

-You can get into the car crusher with your car, then you will get wasted with 100 health and your body disappears along with the car.

-Something I noticed years ago on Vice City (it applies on GTA 3 too) is that entering a coach will make you "invisible", meaning instead of being somewhere inside car, you disappear completely when you are driving a coach. Which explains why coach can carry unlimited people. This can be observed with "wheels only" cheat.

-When I first played GTA 3, I noticed the carjacker guy sometimes punches other pedestrians and he runs away or fights back.

-A few months ago when I registered on forum, someone (I think it was Jeansowaty?) told me that it IS possible to increase the health above 100 in GTA 3, up to 125. Although many of you already knew about that, I didn't (although I did know about that trick in later games). I never used the trick myself and I consider it pretty useless. I mean, isn't enough having 100 health and 100 armor? :p

That's all. If I find more later, I will edit post.

Yes it was me, tovarăș :)Also about that healthboost trick, using an open top car (Stinger, Stallion) will make the additional 25 add up in one second, without the car bumping and all.

Can't believe it took me so long to discover, found this today. When you keep pressing F1 (replay button) when driving Taxi, Taxi sign on roof will time to time change (there are two variants as you all sure know). Btw. I play on PC, don't know if this works on consoles too.

It doesn't. Seems like quite a nice find, though. I remember reading that hitting the replay button and watching said replay, it'll make your car look different compared to how it was in the original capture, like a convertible stallion may have a roof and vice versa.

I think the thugs are pickpocketing, because once they walk away you can see a little animation that looks like they're flipping through notes

Holy sh*t, that's news to me. I knew of the carjackers, but not pickpockets.

might be why there is sometimes peds spawning there in paramedic

But I didn't know that if you get in a taxi and hold down the side mission button then get ou and get in to a different car such as a cheetah or mr whoopie and let go of the Sid mission button you can do the taxi mission in that vehicle ( imagine doing it in a dodo!)
